Re: CMS Made Pretty ?
Yes... without sounding too brown-nosed, I have to say that that admin theme is the most exciting thing I've seen here! Hopefully it will be the default theme, with the old one as a secondary selection if users wish. And all designed by a Geordie as well (Newcastle)... I'm a southerner mate, but I h...

My suggestion is to devote an evening playing with the default templates - try editing pages, assigning different templates to them and so forth, and see what you get

Re: Suddenly - "no config.php file or install/index.php..."
Just to update on this, my webhost did an investigation and found there to have been nothing compromised, which is what I had initially thought was the problem; the issue was in fact a file system error on the actual drive which was corrupting files all by itself. I am told that this is extremely ra...

Re: Suddenly - "no config.php file or install/index.php..."
Well, I guess this is a hosting issue and not a cmsms one. It's not nice seeing something crumble in front of your eyes like this :'( I've contacted my webhost. Thanks very much nullig - a stranger but my best friend tonight. Very much appreciated. I notice my config.php has been wiped.... frighteni...

Re: Suddenly - "no config.php file or install/index.php..."
I now cannot access my /admin panel in cmsms... I get the same message as above. My hosting has cPanel, but I think I've found the logs in my root folder. Just opening them now.... what am I looking for exactly? Strange requests? I imagine something has been compromised. Strange, as well my webhost ...

Re: Suddenly - "no config.php file or install/index.php..."
Can you explain very quickly how to view those logs via FTP? Something very strange is going on. I've not touched anything, and now the message on every page is: Database Connection Failed Error: Access denied for user 'cms'@'localhost' (using password: YES) (1045) Function Performed: CONNECT Host/D...

[Solved] - suddenly "no config.php file or install/index.php..."
Hi everyone I'm not one to post messages asking for help, but I really need it this time. For some reason, out of the blue today, all the pages on my site simply show a black page, with no source on it whatsoever. I put CMSMS into debug mode and it says: There is no config.php file or install/index....

Re: Pisearch - exclude unneccesary parameters?
So is there any way to default the search to 400 characters? Also, on the results screen, at the moment each result only displays 10 characters or so before the highlighted search word, and then loads of characters after. Is there any way to produce results where there are an even number of characte...

Re: Reorder Pages IE7 problem
Another handicap of the re-ordering system is that if you want to move a page to a location off-screen, you can't drag it there as nothing will scroll up or down. I wonder whether this is something that is being looked at in v2.0?

Re: Reorder Pages IE7 problem
I'm pretty sure this is an Internet Explorer bug... and immensely frustrating as I remember! I've changed to Firefox now and this definitely works - you should be able to move any page to & from absolutely anywhere, regardless of their depths in submenus. This bug actually made me change to Fire...

Re: Pisearch - exclude unneccesary parameters?
Thanks Cyberman
Yes, I can make the buttons disappear by removing them from the form template, but the results always just show 100 characters, and I would ideally like 400... I guess that's all I'm looking to do now, hope you can help!

Pisearch - exclude unneccesary parameters?
I have spent the last hour searching these forums for an answer to this but I have found nothing, so here is my question! Pisearch currently has 2 extra dropdowns for 4 different types of search and 4 different types of text length for the results to be displayed in... However, I'll always want to u...

Re: Content ordering.
I agree. I have a huge number of pages in my site, so the javascript takes ages and ages to move a page into a different order if I use the up/down arrows.... sometimes as long as 25 seconds before it loads up as "moved".... will this be changed in version CMSMS 2.0?
