Hide future articles from News browsecat?
I have a series of articles loaded into News, under a subcategory (Category 1 > Subcategory 2). They have a Post and Start date in the future (a few days from now). When I use the browescat feature (browsecat='1'), this future category shows up with an article count, but returns a null result when c...

Front End File Management (Uploads) and Event Manager
We've built a site that is a secure, password-protected document repository, with access to documents controlled by membership in FEU group. Uploads has Categories that correspond to these FEU Groups. Combined with some additional user Properties we can show some users documents from multiple Catego...

Change/add a Label on a Field Definition?
I'm using the News module and have added a few Field Defs. I'm passing the values along so I've kept the names short (e.g. notify). I'd like to add a longer, more descriptive Label to it (e.g. Email address for notification). Is there a way to add this to a field def? Similar to how you'd add one to...

Re: Travel Wild
Yes, the AJAX selector is the functionality I'm interested in. The comparison of values removes the chance of selecting an filtered option with no results - you always get a vacation option with your system because it removes options from the dropdowns based on what's been selected. I'm trying to im...

Re: Travel Wild
I'm looking to implement something similar using the ListIt2 module - I want it to use 'smart' filtering as you've done. Any pointers or examples you can share?

Re: ListIt2 smart filtering
Thanks Stikki - that's what I figured. Trying to put a budget together for this project and thought I'd see if anyone out there had done something similar before I get an estimate from my programmer.

ListIt2 smart filtering
I'm wondering if it’s possible to have the filtering in ListIt2 look at the selections made in one dropdown and reduce the options in another? The idea is to eliminate the possibility of choosing a combination with zero matching results. Something like this: Dropdown One (fruit): Apple Banana Orange...

Re: Register for event
Events Manager is a good solution for this - we’re about to launch a site using it to allow individuals to register for events. We're leveraging it's functionality quite heavily (we actually sponsored some of the additional development of the module), but it does allow for fairly easy self-registrat...

Re: Add content to Protected page for non-logged in users?
Got it. Unfortunately that seems t break the login process for us - as soon as you click on 'Change State' the redirect kicks in and you get punted from the page you are on. This could be a result of how we're using the login procedure, but that's something we can't change at this point. Any other o...

Re: Add content to Protected page for non-logged in users?
I was looking for something like that - I can redirect all such pages to one spot if needed. Where do I set this? I looked on the individual pages (Options and Permissions), and in Site Admin (Global Settings and Page Defaults), but couldn't find anything. Or is it a Smarty call I need to make in th...

Add content to Protected page for non-logged in users?
I have a site set up that uses FEU to let users pick their location (state). Some content is hidden using the Protected Content page type, based on where you are located. You also have the option to change your state, or even select 'None' if none of the options matches your location. The issue I'm ...

301 Redirects and Pretty URls - and folders
I have read quite a few posts on this topic, and seen more than a few 'solutions', but nothing seems to be working for me, or addressing my particular issues. I have a new site built in CMSMS that has consolidated 6 old hard-coded sites which all previously sat in subfolders on the main site (;http:...

Re: How to use anchorlink with cms_selflink
I was just searching for this answer myself! Seems that {cms_selflik} is the way to go. This should work: <span class="red"> {cms_selflink page="leadership" dir="anchor" anchorlink="kollol" text="Kollol Pal, Ph.D., MBA – Chief Executive Officer, Mnemosyne...

Content changes not applied until Cache cleared
To preface this question, I'm trying to troubleshoot a site that was recently updated - by someone else. The client found someone who could do the job for less money, and went with them. Seems they may not have followed the upgrade procedure properly, and now i get to troubleshoot it. Weee..... In a...

That's what we were thinking - at this point though I'm not sure where to start. Anyone out there tackled something similar?
