Hi Calguy Thank you for that tip, that has worked for a simpler template but I am still having the same problem with the example tpl attached. I tried removing code bit by bit but only removing all of the extras seemed to fix it. Seems to be a combination of things. If anyone can see a glaring error...

I can see in admin of the search module that you can choose to 'Sort results alphabetically instead of by weight' My question: Is there a quick way of showing results by date descending.
