Everything is the latest versions, cmsms and plugins all up-to-date. following a number of updates.

My clients now added some events. If i were to uninstall and re-install i guess id lose these. Is there a way I can manually make the needed modifications? for instants - download module and manually update certain files? and manually add database modifications as needed? Thanks for your help. the issue wasn't a mis-configured config parameter but a mis-pelt one. not sure how that happened but all working fine now.

$config['root_'] instead of $config['root_url']

That was my first thought, but... no it has no trailing forward slash:
$config['root_'] = 'http://yawtest.sensorystore.co.uk';
