Re: Unable to add/change content as admin

Sorry about the PHP version stuff...I read those versions backwards and we already comply with the requirement. I was able to update both the News and Events (CGCalendar) with no problems at all. Here is a screen shot after I "add" a page (which doesn't really add) with debug on: www.acaci...

Re: Unable to add/change content as admin

Here are screen shots from Step 1 and Step 2 of the installation: Step 1: www.acacinci.org/images/step1.png Step 2: www.acacinci.org/images/step2.png There was nothing about mod_security, and I uploaded the checksum files that it listed and nothing changed. Those files also show as being smaller in ...

Re: Unable to add/change content as admin

I just checked the PHP version and it is running 5.2.12 and found that the requirements state 5.2.4+, so I will be checking into upgrading the PHP and then report back to see if that fixes the problem or just narrows down possible causes.

Re: Unable to add/change content as admin

I can add News posts, so it is narrowed down to something regarding only the content. Have you apache mod_security module enabled (look to "System Information" in step 2)? I checked the System Information and didn't see anything referring to mod_security, but I checked from the Admin panel...

Re: Unable to add/change content as admin

The database is obviously being read by CMSMS but I am not able to write to the database. Are there any files that I should check the permissions on to make sure that the database and the site have the proper privileges? I already checked the permissions for the database user.

Re: Unable to add/change content as admin

tyman00, I am wondering if I could pm you details to log in and take a look at the admin section. Our secondary option is to install a clean version into a subdirectory and then copy content over and then swap the subdirectory with the root directory. I would really prefer not to do that, but it wil...

Re: Unable to add/change content as admin

I only have access to the live site, and I don't have a testing environment that will mimic the settings on it.

Re: Unable to add/change content as admin

I installed the base files and ran the upgrade and then downloaded the checksum and ran it and got: Notice: Undefined offset: 1 in /usr/home/acacin/www/htdocs/admin/checksum.php on line 101 All checksums match those in the uploaded file I tried to add a page in the admin and it said it was added suc...

Re: Unable to add/change content as admin

I ran "cmsmadesimple-1.8.1-base-checksum.dat" and got this: http://acacinci.org/images/aca-checksum.png. I re-uploaded several of the files/folders and nothing changed when I ran it again.

Re: Unable to add/change content as admin

I can take screen shots of the database settings and tables if that will help at all. I looked around in the tables but I am not really sure what I am looking for.

I really need to be able to add and edit pages very soon, so any suggestions would be awesome. :)

Re: Unable to add/change content as admin

I used the Base diff from 1.8.

The db user has write access, and everything else works fine.

[SOLVED] Unable to add/change content as admin

I just upgraded to version 1.8.1 and tried to change the template that a page was using and the page refreshes as if I did nothing. So I tried to add a new page and it says that the page was added successfully but nothing shows up in the page list. http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/index.php/topic,7734...

Re: Calendar 1.0 - Missing Modify Calendar Permission

I am also running into problems with the Modify Calendar permission missing.

I am running:
CMSMS 1.6
CGCalendar 1.2.2
CGExtensions 1.16

Has any solution been found for this yet? I need to allow that permission for a user I am setting up. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Re: Cached Youtube API Client (CaYAC)

Sorry I didn't get back to you. I ended up going a different route with both YouTube videos and Twitter but I may attempt them again just so I know for sure how to get them working in case I need them in the future. I will let you know if I have problems with either one.

Thanks.
