This doesn't look like anything related to CMSMS, it looks like potentially a copy/paste issue when you're calling the module. disable the wysiwyg editor when editing pages, you should see it. The way cmsms is installed seems to make some difference. When doing a fresh install with default language (en_US, first install screen), CGCalendar works as expected.
