Re: CTLModuleMaker - length of name field
Try to insert this into your Blueprint.php after the "name" parameter. Hi, Thanks for the help but I cannot see where the 'name' field is defined in the bluprint.php file. I can see where the fields that I have created are defined but not where the ones that are automatically created are....

CTLModuleMaker - length of name field
Hi, I'm a novice at creating modules so please excuse what is probably a basic question. I am using CTLModuleMaker to create a news item database and want to use the 'name' field of an item to hold the headline of the item. The problem is the field is automatically created and it has it's length res...

Template editor adds a "\" when saving templates
Hi, I have recently started having problems with '\'s appearing in module templates after they have been saved. Happens in News and RSS2HTML modules. Searching the forums I found that the problem was that magic_quotes_gpc was set to on in my installation but I have no way of changing that since pu...

Re: RSS2HTML inserts \ in template
Hi, I'm still having this problem. I have noticed that it also affects any module templates that are saved to the database, so the News module is affected too. I have upgraded to the latest release of cmsms CMS Made Simple 1.6.5 "Poya" but I am still getting the problem. Does anyone else s...

RSS2HTML inserts \ in template
Hi RSS2HTML has started escaping quotes with \ whenever I save templates. For example what started out as... Home will end up as... Home after the first save and... Home after the second save. Unfortunately this breaks the links. The only cure is to not use the quotes but that is not good html as ...

accessing page attributes on a different page
Hi Sorry if this has an obvious answer. I have searched for it but cannot find anything relevent. Is there is a way of calling up page attributes (specifically the 'Description' and 'Extra page attributes' from the Options tab) from a different page. What I want to do is have a kind of menu page li...

File Manager move files problem
Hi, Whenever I try to move files to a different directory using File Manager I get a "No files selected" error even though I have selected a file to move. Any ideas what might be going on here? Ray ---------------------------------------------- Cms Version: 1.4.1 Installed Modules: nuSOAP:...

Content not showing in 'Edit Content' page
Hi, Something very odd has happened. My website is working perfectly but when I try to edit pages there is no content shown in the 'Edit Content' page. I have tried different WYSIWYG editors (normaly use TinyMCE) and also plain text. I have also tried different browsers (normally use IE but tried...

Re: Is it possible to add attachments to the NMS Module?
Ahh, I see. But I'm still not sure where this is documented and how a new user (such as me) finds out about these things.
The big problem is then, which folder do I put the files in?
Also how does it work for images? Is there an {nms_image} tag too?

Hi,
I have tried both these methods and I still don't have a cmslink button.
Is there anything else I should do?

Re: Is it possible to add attachments to the NMS Module?
What is the propper folder ? I don't mind pre-uploading the file so it can be attached. Can I customize (how to) this so that it looks in a specified folder only ? I have the files allready uploaded, in this folder as I used them in my mailings. /uploads/images/Mails/ how can I have the drop down l...

Re: Domain Address
Hi, I'm no expert but, if I understand correctly, you were running the site as http://ciudadbarranquitas.soulestudios.com so all the entries in config.php will have that value in them. Now you have changed to http://www.ciudadbarranquitas.com I think you need to go through config.php and change al...

Re: Apply button problem
Okay, I've checked all the directory permissions etc with the install instructions. This throws up another issue actually - the WYSIWYG editor does not display when the modules directory is set to 777 or 775, only when it is 755. Odd. However, I have now noticed that when I load a page for editing...

Re: Apply button problem
Okay, had to upload the install directory again as I had deleted it. I get green ticks all the way down so all seems okay as far as that is concerned.
