Searching just one section of a CMSMS website...
Does anyone know a way I could use the Search that comes with CMSMS to just search a particular part of my website (content page tree)? Basically, I'm running one CMSMS install with two distinct sections, and I'd like the search that's on each just to work inside that section. I couldn't find a para...

Re: CTLModuleMaker: specifying a search result page
From what I understand, the detailpage parameter should do exactly that. Did you try it? Pierre-Luc Hi Pierre-Luc, Thanks for your help. I've tried that, but it doesn't seem to work for me. The tag to generate the search form is in my home-page template, and looks like this... {cms_module module=&q...

CTLModuleMaker: specifying a search result page
Hi, I've created a categorised directory of organisations module using the excellent CTL Module Maker. On most pages on my site, i have a search box for the module to allow people to search the directory. However, by default, the module puts the results of the search where the module {tag} is on wha...

Re: [Browser Issue?] Fatal error: Call to a member function GetFriendlyName() on
After much debugging with the help of the endlessly patient calguy1000 I have found the issue! In the cookie for the domain this was on, the variable id was set, with a value of 2. The cookie superglobal array gets included in the request superglobal array by PHP. CMSMS then uses isset($_REQUEST['id...

Re: Fatal error: Call to a member function GetFriendlyName() on a non-object in
I have tried installing both by SSH (wgeting the gzipped tarball), and uploading the unziped zip file via FTP (Filezilla FTP, latest version). Both upload methods produce the same results on any fresh install on any account on my server. However an installation which I upgraded to 1.4 using the diff...

Re: Fatal error: Call to a member function GetFriendlyName() on a non-object in
I can confirm i mean 1.2 by the latest version. I've echoed out the $_REQUEST array and get the following result (on an error page): Array ( [mact] => ModuleManager,m1_,defaultadmin,0 [m1_curletter] => L [cms_language] => en_US [cms_admin_user_id] => 1 [cms_passhash] => *** [token] => *** [remember]...

[Solved]Fatal error: Call to a member function GetFriendlyName..[browser issue!]
I'm getting this when trying to access various parts of modules in CMSMS on a fresh install of the latest version. Never had it before, and the same server is running about 25 other instances of CMSMS flawlessly. Fatal error: Call to a member function GetFriendlyName() on a non-object in /home/user/...

http://www.lgf.org.uk/ The biggest site I've constructed using CMS Made Simple to date. Probably the biggest charity of their kind in Europe. It contains thousands of items of content, and is nowhere near finished yet! I've some experimentation with the news module, creating a specific template whic...

News Module Image Capabilities - $200 USD
I need a select-image-or-upload style field which then generates an image and thumbnail, both the image and thumbnail size should be customisable in the options (preferably with multiple sizes able to be specified (Big, Medium, Thumbnail), but not critical). The template should then have a set of {t...

Re: BUG in CMS1.1 NewsModule.php when searching with pretty URLS
I had this problem.
This fixed fixed it perfectly, and I think it should be shipped out with the next version of the News Module as with some site designs it can make the search completely unusable if it contains links to news items as they just don't work when clicked without this fix.

Re: Flickr Module Help (pretty urls related)
I don't think so. I mean, it is pretty old, but the author gives instructions on his/her website about what to do if you have pretty URLs enabled - so I think the module does support them.

Flickr Module Help (pretty urls related)
I've been trying to get the Flickr module to work. It displays the list of sets perfectly, but when i click on one i get a 404. I've followed the instructions on the page about the module perfectly, and my pretty URL configuration is pretty standard. (ends in /) http://bogong.dk/flickrmodule The gal...

FCKEditorX Settings Broken
Admin Area -> Extensions -> FCKEditorX The background colour box doesn't seem to work, and i'm not sure what the "body tag CSS" is for, that seems to make changes to the below window but that's all. I've spoken to reneh about this on IRC and, as far as I can tell, he appears to be having a...
