Re: Sign Up Form For Mailing List

Hey Mark,

Hosting has already been purchased so I guess it aint really an option...at least not for this project.  ;)

Is there any other way to create a sign up form other than NMS?

Perhaps the Form Builder module...would that achieve the same aim?

Thanks again,

Rich.

Re: Sign Up Form For Mailing List

Hey Mark, Thanks so much for getting back to me. I'm now just toying around trying to figure out how to make NMS work properly.  I hadn't even heard of this module before but it looks like just the solution I needed. I have installed NMS-1.0.3.xml from the site you linked me to.  The signup form now...

Re: Sign Up Form For Mailing List

Hi Mark, I just logged into the Admin section and went to have a look for NewsletterMadeSimple through the Module Manager, but it shows me an error which I haven't seen before.  It says... Error! SOAP Problem (http://modules.cmsmadesimple.org/soap.php?module=ModuleRepository): HTTP Error: Couldn't o...

Re: Sign Up Form For Mailing List

Hi Mark,

Thanks so much for getting back to me.  I was beginning to worry that nobody would reply.

Is NewsletterMadeSimple a module to perform this function which I need to install?  If so then great, but where do I find it?

Thanks again,

Rich.

Re: Let music player play while browsing site

Is it possible to position the slim version xspf music player (with autoresume) vertically on a webpage?

I want to position the player at the side of a webpage instead of horizontally at the top?

Many Thanks,

R.

One Simple Paypal Link

Hey All.. I'm still trying to get the hang of CMSMS for a band website I'm building.  The problem is, I want to add a simple button which will allow people to order the album, by directing them to Paypal. Has anyone done this before?  I dont think it should be that complicated but I don't know how i...

Is a Flash Header possible for Grass Stains Template?

Hi Everyone, I am fairly new to CMSMS.  I have been using Mark's Grass Stains xml theme as a base template to learn different bits and pieces of how CMSMS works.  The current problem is that I am trying to insert titlebar1.swf Flash File into the template, instead of the static header JPEG image.  D...

Embedding YouTube Videos etc through FCKEditor

Hi All...

Does anyone know if it is possible to easily embed a YouTube video through the FCKeditor, rather than altering the actual website template?

Many Thanks,

R.

Re: Home Page not Recognised...

Thanks Again,

I tried the htaccess file to no avail.  For anyone else however, facing this problem, I contacted the hosting company and they managed to solve the issue themselves very quickly indeed.

Re: Home Page not Recognised...

Dee, Thanks for getting back to me so quickly.  I had a look at the thread you directed me to but still haven't managed to resolve the issue.  I have just sent an email to the hosting company there now to see if it's a problem at their end....unless you can think of what else I can do? Thanks again,...
