Re: Slow admin area

https://docs.cmsmadesimple.org/troubleshooting/tips#enable-debug-mode When you enable it there will be some verbose display of the steps CMSMS takes to render a page, at least to some extent. Usually useful data in debugging bottlenecks in a server or in the code. Also mind you that forms submission...

Re: Slow admin area

My host has recently upgraded various things on the servers so suspect its some how connected - but they arent very helpful. They suggested it might be something to to with a Perl upgrade? Is there any issue/incompatibility I need to be aware of with CMSMS? I cant see any errors on my web hosting e...

Re: Deprecated get_magic_quotes_runtime() in phpmailer

Although not very explicit we are going to consolidate as much as possible all the core and it's libraries' licenses, 3rd party or not. On all our proprietary code we will probably change to AGPL3+. We well keep all 3rd party libraries that are compatible with AGPL3+ and deprecate and eventually rem...

Re: Warning by code in class.usertagoperations.inc.php ?

You misinterpreted me, or I wasn't very clear... The offending code is in a UDT ( User Defined Tag ) which is a snippet of PHP that is created by the user and that can then be used as a Smarty tag on your templates. You'll have to look inside the UDTs for the occurrence of the word round on line 3 o...

Code: Select all

eval()'d code on line 3
That means that the code is in the UTD itself... not on the file you are pointing to. You'll have to search which udt is causing it.

Re: MAMS Registration problem

I just tested on a site and it's working fine. I'm guessing that you may be missing something in the registration form tag which should be something like:

Code: Select all

{MAMSRegistration group=mygroupname}
.
Can you post it here?

Re: MicroTiny and Emojis

To clarify, web fonts are installed server side, the default ones are usually part of the server OS installation, and extra can be used via CSS (there is online documentation about how to proceed with their installation). So, most likely, the issues you are experiencing are server side related, not ...

Re: MicroTiny and Emojis

To the best of my knowledge this is not a CMSMS core or module issue. The used fonts have to support the Unicode character codes, and that seems to be perfectly explicit on the TinyMCE docs: By default, the emoticon plugin inserts Unicode character codes, such as \ud83d\ude03 for the smiley emoji. H...

Re: Problem with Formbuilder 1.1.1

I have an error message when submitting my form FormBuilder submit error: XSS attempt! I have another site using FB version 0.8.1.6 with no issues at all. If I uninstall 1.1.1 and replace with 0.8.1.6, will it work with the newer version of CMSMS? I'm only looking for basic form fields: Test Input....

Re: Which modules to use to create a website for the sale of online courses?

Possible? Absolutely, one of our Dev Team members has actually developed a whole e-learning platform with CMSMS and a few other modules. Easy? well that will depend a lot on how fluent you are with CMSMS, Smarty, and possibly some PHP, in particular some UDTs that may be needed to tie everything tog...

Not that I have much to say about what modules to get up to speed or not. I hope users will chime in on that. But I could not pass the opportunity to voice my warm welcome back :). Glad to hear from you!

Yes to your 1st question, no to the 2nd. The query determines the result set in terms of rows and columns to be returned in the array.

Re: GetArray with $inputarr

Apart from the fact that you didn't offer any clue of what the table structure is, including its name and prefix, if any, along with the columns names, which doesn't allow me to exclude any possible SQL syntax error, there is a misinterpretation of what $db->GetArray() actually does: the GetArray me...

Re: Protect content with mams_protect problem with javascript

OK so I just tested MAMS {mams_protect} block plugin and it works as expected even with multiple uses on the same page for different user groups. This leads me to conclude there is an issue with the JS logic that is breaking your code. In addition to all the suggested tests I would do some more simp...
