re-installed the admin, lib, tmp folders - but still no content to edit.

have the new theme in admin panel - just can't edit any content, or put new content up.

just done a clean install into a new database in a new folder & viola it works - can see content to edit! so what do i need to look at on the live site that has 4 yrs of content on? - is it the database? or one of the cmsms files i need to re-upload? EDIT have now copied the backup database into...

just opened the config file on the webserver and there is no mention of TimeZone is that because its using cmsmadesimple 1.6.9?
& older ver of php.
