Re: [invalid] "Not allowed by security setting" Smarty Error

Hi, sorry for bumping this up, but I've commented out a certain line of code (I know, I shouldn't talk about it, but...) and here's some system info that you might find useful: ---------------------------------------------- Cms Version: 1.11-beta2 Installed Modules: CMSMailer: 5.2.1 CMSPrinting: 1.0...

Re: [invalid] "Not allowed by security setting" Smarty Error

No, I'm afraid I can't. I'm using a standard Web-developer Server Suite v2.00. First time I've seen this error was when I installed an early 1.11 Alpha release, months ago. But I thought it's something Alpha - related. What's strange, when I first installed it, I was able to use the system normally ...

[invalid] "Not allowed by security setting" Smarty Error

Hi all, Server: Apache 2.2 (local, on Win XP) PHP Version 5.2.5 After a clean installation I've got this error while trying to see Admin area : Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'SmartyException' with message 'directory 'G:\www\vhosts\localhost\cmsms111\admin\themes\OneEleven\templates\topcontent.tpl'...

Re: What is a direct link to a stylesheet?

I don't think you can link directly, because the CSS code is stored in the database and then compiled and temporarily cached in the 'tmp/cache' directory. That file is being deleted and recreated randomly (during cache clearing). There are some modules that can export your theme into files, though, ...

If you haven't done that already, check out the "CMSMS_config_reference.pdf" file in the "doc" folder of your CMSMS installation.

Re: Slow site?

The current CMS MS version is 1.10.3 and it is the only officially supported version at the moment. Your 3rd party modules are completely 1.10.x compatible, so there is no good reason not to upgrade. This newest version has improved caching mechanisms, so your issue WILL disappear after upgrading - ...

Re: How to search Forge?

This is pretty simple, really. If you want editors to be able to Add Users and Assign them to the Editors group, just give them the "Add Users" and "Modify Group Assignments" permissions. If you need any other arrangement, just try playing with Groups and Group Permissions. If yo...

Re: STRANGE PROBLEM - navigation / pages dissappear

This is a strange issue, no doubt. But I don't understand why are you still not upgrading this site. :) Until you do, I think that the most practical solution is server cache clearing. Set " Remove cache files that are older than the specified number of days " parameter to 1 or/and force u...

I believe you'll be fine - that's what the prefixes are for. ;)

Re: Problem including link inside UDT

Well, I've tried and failed reproducing this condition on a 1.9.4.3 to 1.10 >> .... >> 1.10.3 upgrade. For me, it works OK. Haven't tried showing the UDT on a page/Template, though.

Re: not all table cells aligning properly

It's a CSS problem. It looks OK in Firefox, but Internet Explorer is not rendering it right.

Use Firebug (on Firefox) or Developer Tools (on IE) to track down problematic CSS code.

Re: Gallery: The directory 'Gallery' does not exist

The Gallery dir should be in the /uploads/images/

Also, I'd check Gallery-related permissions.

Try that module. But, if you like to do things "in the good ol' hard way" :) , you could make a brand-new installation, make all the "custom changes" you want and then simply create an "image" of that site (copy all the files and create a database backup). Then, when a ...

Re: Two 1.10.3 sites not truly logging out of the admin pane

I've tried to reproduce the problem on a similar system: 1.10.3 (upgraded from 1.9.4.3 >> 1.10 >> ... >> 1.10.3) FF 9.0.1 Win XP For me, the CMS MS works just as it should. I've tried the 'back button', manually typing the admin address, even tried going to the 'modules' page - it took me back to th...
