CG Calendar - next previous inline display issue
I'm having inline display issues with CGCalendar module in display="calendar" mode. I have a 2-column layout with the calendar in the left column under a menu. Ideally this is how I need the calendar to behave: • by clicking the prev/next links, the calendar table should replace itself in ...

FormBuilder 0.5.11 - backslashes '\' inserted in form templates - breaking forms
Recently out of the blue, I started getting backslashes automatically inserted into my form templates wherever there is a single or double quote character after I hit the "save" or "save and continue editing" button. These backslashes are breaking my forms and are showing smarty ...

Re: Friendly URLs for News Category "browsecat"
This can be acomplished by creating a page for each category and then limiting only the entries for that category to appear on that page.

Re: Is anyone else feeling CMSMS is more trouble than it's worth?
Humm... you should have tiltled your thread "Is anyone else feeling the News module is more trouble than it's worth?" Maybe I was a bit harsh in naming the thread, but unfortunately at times while working with CMSMS I often found myself frustrated and thought that there has to be an easie...

Re: Is anyone else feeling CMSMS is more trouble than it's worth?
Mark: The site is still in progress, but hope to launch sometime next week -- not enough hours in the day between a 9-5 job and freelance work -- but as soon as it's good to go, I'll post a link. Just to clarify, the main issue I had with CMSMS while developing the site was with the News Module. Too...

Re: Is anyone else feeling CMSMS is more trouble than it's worth?
Calguy, I agree CMSMS is not the be-all and end-all for content management -- for that matter I don't think that there is any one cms that is. But why use CMSMS for maintaining content and use Wordpress for blogging? CMSMS by now should have come further along with having its own fully functioning b...

Is anyone else feeling CMSMS is more trouble than it's worth?
Don't get me wrong, I've been using CMSMS for over a year now and think it's one of the easiest CMS systems available, but only if you're creating a basic brochure site. What's so frustrating is all the time needed to problem solve, modify modules so that they work properly, and numerous hours searc...

Re: News and Breadcrumbs
Can someone please clalify something for me? I have been frantically searching the forums with no luck trying to figure out why my breadcrumbs aren't working with my pretty news urls which I accomplished following the instructions from this post: http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/index.php/topic,5012.0...

Re: [SOLVED] Another tweak needed for Tell a Friend tag
Upload it to your plugins folder. Then call it on your layout with the following, changing the parameters to suit your needs. {tellafriend_form emailsubject='Check out this page!' style='true' cannedtext='I thought you might find this page interesting' captcha='true'} For more info, in your admin go...

News and Breadcrumbs
I'm working on an article driven website, and I'd like to be able to have my breadcrumbs reflect the article titles. I've searched the forum and saw a few others were also looking to do this, but nothing was posted on how to accomplish this. I also looked in the Forge to see if there were any patche...

It's me again...
just wanted to say I agree with Mark -- a CSS based layout is the way to go. You'll have way more control over your page layout, and the Firefox developers toolbar has some great features to help you troubleshoot any problems you might have with your layout.

Re: nasty little "content pushed to the bottom of the page" problem in IE again.
I definitely think the problem is due to your table based layout. I think you might need to start from scratch to clean up some of your code. I threw this together real quick to help you get started. <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/...

Re: nasty little "content pushed to the bottom of the page" problem in IE again.
I'm on a Mac and when I looked at your site in Safari the content is stuck at the very top of your page ontop of your header and navbar with the first few lines being cut off, but when I look at your site in Firefox the content first appears at the very top of your page but then jumps to where you e...

Hi John,
I took a quick peek at your code and I saw that you have an extra tag in your code. Delete it and see if that fixes your issue.
