MLE and News
Hi all, Yes I've read previous questions on this topic, but I just want to be sure. On MLE 1.5.2 : When I create a new Content Page, I have a selector to choose the language. When I create a News, I don't have the language selector. Is this the standard behaviour ? ---- (I tend to think "Yes&qu...

Re: "IE6 is not supported"
Thanks, guys - so, "it might work, but isn't supported". I'll try to explain this to my customers (we embedded a QCodo-made application in CMSMS for some intranet app, I guess we now have more than 500.000 internal users through our big customers... and more than 50 admins). But thanks God...

Re: "IE6 is not supported"
So, does this mean a doc error, or : no more IE6 ? for standard users, or for administration only ?
Thanks in advance for your answers,
Fred

"IE6 is not supported"
Hi all, It's been a long time since I last posted a message here... We've been "quite" busy these last months. I've been very surprised recently to read in the Documentation (Handbook, http://wiki.cmsmadesimple.org/index.php/User_Handbook/Installation/Requirements ) that "IE6 is not s...

[solved] Captcha path problem after server change
My provider moved my web directory from a server to another : so I had to edit my general CMSMS config.php, and all came back OK. Sometime after I discovered that Captcha didn't work, saying "no fonts found". I tried changing / saving the Captcha settings: no success. Clear CMSMS Cache : n...

Re: LDAP integration on the way - a NICE way / SSO
Well I've not been working on this topic these last weeks... So it seems to turn to be just some proof of concept about SSO & Apache auth_sspi. And yes, it means hacking (but not so severely) CustomContent. But I will definitely think about creating a new module for this if ever needed... unless...

Re: decoding RSS feed link to display just summaries --> Edit the template
Hi,
It's probably too late, but it can help in the future...
You have to edit this file : modules/news/templates/rssfeed.tpl,
adjust Description to just send the summary:
strippedsummary}]]>
Being there, you can also adjust the highest Description to fit with your site.
HTH,
Fred

Re: LDAP Authentication
PeterT,
What do you mean/want to achieve with this??
If you're interested, I've already been playing with reading & parsing pop3 mails... I think opening a new topic here or in Requests would be fine, too !

Re: LDAP integration on the way - a NICE way / SSO
Hmmm... I'm not sure I've been very clear, hence this update... This integration means SSO . So users don't have to log in CMSMS, as the server already knows them (their Windows login - can someone tell me about linux login ?), and you don't have to maintain a Users directory anymore. If you need to...

LDAP integration on the way - a NICE way / SSO
Well, it killed my saturday week-end, but I think it was the worth. :P I've setup an OpenLDAP, and hacked my (UniformServer) Apache2 to use mod_auth_sspi, configured my virtual hosts, and finally hacked CustomContent, using some tips I learned while suffering with WebSphere LDAP integration : - so ...

[SOLVED - REMOVE _ underscores] Re: Can't login to Admin with IE - Firefox is OK
Gosh, I found the problem explained & and solution here : http://us2.php.net/manual/en/function.s ... .php#67262
My site was named intranet_mysite... and underscore _ is forbidden by the RFC, so IE doesn't accept sessions from a site with underscore...
Hope it will work for you all !!
