For the record (anyone reading this in future, really): This wouldn't have worked because the HTML elements were not nested in a valid way (DIVs inside As). TinyMCE has an option to override this, I believe.

I understand. It's just that this problem is solved for me on the website in question. Any new reports from other users should really be a separate topic because their cause and solution may be completely different.

Hmmm, I'm not sure. The problem I originally posted is actually solved (even though I don't know the reason).

To test permissions, you have to set them up then create a test account, log out, log in under the test account, test, log out, log back in, and so on (or at least use two different browsers, one as admin and another as a different user). Just thought I'd add that I've now had this occur with another website, and after six weeks the problem hasn't been resolved. Very frustrating. While it works okay, MicroTiny is a poor substitute for TinyMCE. Hopefully someone eventually figures out why this happens and how to fix it.

I agree, and I've made this argument before about using common language across all modules, but I was shot down. There needs to be consistency.

It came out of nowhere for me, too. I think it fixed itself within a few days or a week, so hopefully you have the same luck!
