Re: 0.13 Beta 1 Released!
I was testing my code, and if I copy and paste the .htaccess stuff from the forum, I get an Internal Server Error. I found that I have to convert all the line endings to Unix (LF) Line Endings and it works.

Re: 0.13 Beta 1 Released!
My client has wanted this style of urls for a long time. If anyone is interested in having urls look like: http://yoursite.com/navigation_menus/navtop (w/o index.php in the middle) do the following: In config.php #------------ #URL Settings #------------ #Show mod_rewrite URLs in the menu? $config['...

Re: very slow site
My host (pair.com) has verified that there is NOT anything hogging resources on the server (web host or db server), but they moved me to a different db server 2 days ago just to be safe. I'm the only one on this db server right now. I am still having a very slow-loading site. Take a look at these p...

different listcontent.php view
I don't know if anyone is finding this junk useful, but I'm just posting my little "hacks" here. My client is having a hard time seeing the hierarchy on the listcontent.php page. I moved the expand/collapse buttons and changed the symbol to show hierarchy level. http://kandmcreative.com/...

A nicer parent selector drop-down.
My client needs an easier to follow hierarchy when selecting a content's parent. Here's my solution: http://kandmcreative.com/temp/dropdown.png in lib/classes/class.content.inc.php, around line 2146 replace the current CreateHierarchyDropdown function with: function CreateHierarchyDropdown($current ...

Re: very slow site
Patricia, i'll try your suggested links and see if it makes a difference. I contacted my host, and they don't see any server overload or any other problems with the hosting or database server. I am now generating a log of load times at http://64.130.12.211/tmp/loadtime.txt . The top of the log is a...

Re: very slow site
That makes sense, wishy. I seem to always get slow loading pages if I've been away from the site for an hour or so. If I empty the cache though, I can't duplicate the problem.
If the problem persists, I will contact pair and see if someone else is hogging resources.

Re: 0.12beta1 Released!
Now posting this at http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/index.php/topic,3097.0.html Testmaster, I'll look into the konqueror warning. What version do you have? Konqueror is essentially the same as safari right? It works perfectly for me in safari. The scriptactulous script is a very well-tested script...

very slow site
My site is randomly running extremely slow. I just now had a page generated in 13.446877 seconds. I get between .13 and > 60 seconds generation time! I would ideally just like it to be below 1 or 2 seconds. http://64.130.12.211 - see stats in the upper left corner. I'm hosted on Pair Networks , a...

Re: 0.12beta1 Released!
It still loads slow occasionally. Generally, it runs perfectly, but sometimes it just hangs for sometimes up to 40 seconds. You can see the speed report at the top left of the screen for easy reference.

tabs in textarea
I haven't had time to play around in the CMSMS Forge and figure out how to get involved, but here's something I always add to cmsms. It simply makes the tab button functional within a textarea when formatting html or css in the admin. Of course this has an accessiblilty issue, but it's just for th...

Re: Updated random_image plugin
yup... it's yet another random image plugin.
what would be the correct course of action to add it to properly submit my additions? My version filters out the thumbnails generated by the image manager.
I want to do the right thing.
thanks!

Updated random_image plugin
I rewrote the random_image plugin to strip any autogenerated thumbnails.
I think the code is more efficient than before, as well.
Don't forget to remove the .txt from the file.
