IIRC you have to edit the config file "timezone = GMT" or whatever to match the server. Sorry, can't remember the exact syntax of the statement.

Just curious, these projects never seem to take hold. Too complicated? Simpler way to do it? I ran into the same problem. All I needed to do, was edit a file.

I'm kind of in the same boat, but the site I am dealing with was unable (ineligible?) to use online payment. So the ad-hoc method was to use Formbuilder and have the people register & send the payments via snailmail or Interac electronic money transfer. I think the next time I'm faced with this ...

I ran into an issue with CMS mailer when I upgraded to 1.8.2 The mailer stopped working while set on SMTP and using Formbuilder. With a bit of searching I found someone having a problem with a different module but the same error message. His workaround was to switch CMSmailer from SMTP to mail.

I think if you read through the Gallery module's help section it describes how to do this. I'm pretty sure trying to make a second install of the module won't help your situation.
