Re: New site launched "Danish"

It looks very good indeed.

Maybe you should have a page about yourselves - "Om Os" - that would add a little more personality to the site.

Re: æøå i menu!!!

Hej "Eazy",

Jeg er ikke klar over hvad du skal gøre...

Jeg er faktisk ikke klar over at jeg selv har gjort noget specielt. For mig virker det i al fald: her er mit site. Prøv for eksempel at se menuen under "Om Os"...

Re: Bi-lingual page for an American Church in Berlin/Germany

Hi "cas", By the way, here is the menu template I use: {* CSS classes used in this template: #flagsmenu - The id for the <ul> .menuactive - The class for each <li> that is active or is a parent (on any level) of a child that is active. *} <div id="flagsmenu"> {if $count > 0} <ul>...

Re: Nyheds system

Re: Bi-lingual page for an American Church in Berlin/Germany

Hi "cas", This is very much like I have done it on my site . Note that I generate the flags using a special menu template. The result is very google friendly. The only problem I have observed until now is that google don't allow you toi register the web site under two different domain name...

Re: New Zealand Site goes live

Hi,

I, too, like the design, but the site takes forever to load. Please have a look at the report from websiteoptimization.com.

Consider reusing the same sub-picture twice for the paritutu-rock.jpg picture and then overlay the bottom version with an extra gif using transparency.

Re: 185 Bar & Restaurant - 1st CMSMS Site :)

Hi "stinhambo",

Very, very nice. It is not often that you find a good looking site in red!

You can easily make the second level menu on the beverages menu in to a proper sub menu. Have a look at the left side menu on the standard installation for inspiration.

Re: Professionnal Portfolio - Thx CMS-MS

As I don't understand the language and thus the idea of the site ;D , I can only comment on the layout.

And it is a little too orange for me  ;)

Re: A small Danish business site (though in English)

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll try to do that.

I guess I will have to look into the relevant tags to see how to do that consistently - e.g. the right part of the header is served via {random_image}..

Re: A small Danish business site (though in English - and now in Danish as well)

Hi all, I have just extended my site with Danish a well so you can choose the language you like - well English and Danish for now. I plan to extend the languages to Sweedish and Norwegian as well in the future. I'm working on the server setup for the site so a number of domain names point to the sit...

Re: A small Danish business site (though in English)

Hi WebGirl,

I have evaluated the multilang version, but it has some problems with search engines, that makes it unsuitable for me - all language variants share the same URL, which breaks search engines as they index by the URL. Thanks for the tips though.

A small Danish business site (though in English)

I am in the process of starting a small company that is specialised in the Eclipse platform. I managed to put together this site as a part-time execise over the last couple of weeks. I'm very impressed about the quality of the software and the ease with which one can do all the things needed for suc...
