I'm not a member of the CMS forge. I've sent an email to the author - but no response.

JQuery tries to extend the CmsObject

But this is not possible in the latest version...
Do you know what is possible with Hyacinthe? XMLMadeSimple has the same problem and there's no upgrade fr it.

Thanks.

Re: xml and csv data feed in cmsms

I was using XMLMadeSimple - and it worked like a charm. I was able to display 5 separate rss newsfeeds on my website. Then I foolishly upgraded to Hyacinthe (1.10.3) - and it stopped working. I'm going through the code one line at-a-time trying to figure it out... it seems this line is the offending...

Re: Newswire module?

I'm now trying out XMLMadeSimple. Apparently not that simple - at least for me. I installed the module - no prob. And I added two feeds. But now I don't see any content from the feeds. I assume the problem is that it hasn't read the RSS feeds yet - and that's why there's no content. I used this {$xm...

Re: Newswire module?

Newswire module?

Does anyone know if there's a "newswire" module. By newswire I mean a module that collects a bunch of RSS feeds automatically, (I suppose with the use of a cron job?) and then displays the title and link in a nice format. Something like this page - in the middle called "Newswire: Top ...

Latest Version of MenuManager Module?

I see that my installation of CMS Made Simple (1.9.4.1) says that my version of "Menu Manager" is 1.7.6, but this says the latest version is 1.4.1! http://dev.cmsmadesimple.org/projects/menumanager Question - how is it that I have 1.7.6? (I inherited this project from someone else - so not...

Re: Installing or Upgrading to 1.9 - Problems and Solutions

I upgraded from 1.9.2 to 1.9.4.1 - everything went well. And every page looks fine except one page. It just displays between the body-tag, but does not display the html header. Any ideas?

This is the bad page:

Thanks.

Calendar stopped working

I'm using CMSms ver 1.8.2 and I upgraded Calendar from 0.7.13 to 0.8.2. I also upgraded the FCKEditor to ver 1.1.0. I didn't notice when, but at some point the calendar function stopped working. I have this in the page content: {cms_module module='Calendar' table_id='big'} Although, FCKEditor conver...

Re: Newbie question - upgrade from 1.2.5?

good news - it worked. Here are the steps: 1. as usual - always make a backup. I made two different kinds of backup of the MySQL datrabase and all the source PHP files. 2. wget the latest version of CMS: $last_line = system('wget http://s3.amazonaws.com/cmsms/downloads/5973/cmsmadesimple-1.8.2-full....

Re: Newbie question - upgrade from 1.2.5?

I don't understand - why would I run the 1.2.5 installer???

I made a backup of the MySQL DB.

Now - can I go ahead and download the latest version and unzip it?

Newbie question - upgrade from 1.2.5?

I'm new to CMS Made Simple. The project I've inherited is ver 1.2.5 "Free Hill".

Any pitfalls I should know about before upgrading to the latest version 1.8.2?

Is there a smple guide for upgrading?

Thanks
