system for pay site
I need to build a site that can allow a user to create an account, make payment by paypal or credit card, and then based on the package purchased, allow access to a specific set of pages. Also, there needs to be more than 1 set of pages or packages that can be purchased. Access to pages that have no...

Re: Edits not making it to the front end
I have checked the config file and it said that the time zone was America/New York. Since I am in Pittsburgh, it seems to be set correctly. There still seems to be a problem and it seems to get worse when a large amount of edits are made at one time. I have started to disable the cashing check box w...

Edits not making it to the front end
I am using the latest version of CMS-MS v.1.10.3 on a IIS server and I am having some difficulties getting the edited pages to update when viewing the actual site. The updates are shown in the editing window in the admin section. So I know the db is receiving the edits. This has been a problem since...

Survey Module
Hi, I hope I got this post in a reasonable board. If not my apologies. I need to administer a few surveys. These surveys will be taken by representatives of various government offices that my employer has been contracted to gather data on. There will be about 100 responding offices and the data coll...

What is the text area editor in in the frontend users module?
I am using the FrontEnd Users Module with the textarea field and I have the WYSIWYG feature turned on. When I log on as a FEU I see a large text area in the change settings page. Is this a TinyMCE window?
Thanks
Thanks

TinyMCE Toolbars for frontend user
First some specs: I am using XXAMP under Win7 with CMS-MS 1.8.2. I have created a site for an academic dept. with the frontend Users/CGDirectory modules. Each faculty member has a profile page that they can edit themselves using a frontend users login. In the properties section of Frontend Users I h...

TinyMCE tag???
I would like to place a TinyMCE window on a page, pass text/HTML to it, allow it to be edited, and finally return the edits to MySQL. Is this possible? If not is there any other method of doing something like this such as a different WYSIWYG HTML editor module? P.S. Ultimately I want to place this i...

Re: Auto generate a summary page
Hey thanks, Actually I did read the help but I had a brain fart and since I was looking for the work template and the word used in the directions was form I went right over what I was looking for. I think I should take a walk around the building more often during the day to wake up or something. Any...

Re: Auto generate a summary page
Hi, thanks for both of your suggestions. I have decided to go the route that JeremyBASS outlined with the Frontend Users module. This does seem cleaner than my original method. So far I have installed CGExtensions, Frontend Users, CGDirectory, and Custom Content. Not sure if custome contnt was neede...

[SOLVED]Auto generate a summary page
I have made a site using CMS for an academic department where all the facility can log in to the site and edit their own informational page. I was wanting to generate a facility overview page that would create an entry for each facility and populate it with their picture and some of the fields that ...

Re: New module: Showtime (Animated slideshow)
Ok, this new version (1.0.2) is better. My XXAMP server is now using Showtime correctly but the CentOS server is not. Here are the version diferences between the two: OS Win7 (XXAMP) Cent OS release 5.4 (Final) (2.6.18-164.11.1.el5 On i686) working? working not working...

Re: New module: Showtime (Animated slideshow)
Hey thanks for the help on the XXAMP install. I moved to the Red Hat server and the module is acting much better. But now I am having the same problem as Raduen above. As I said, I am on a Red Hat server and I am using CMS Made Simple version 1.8.2 as Raduen is. The exact error message is: No show f...

Re: New module: Showtime (Animated slideshow)
Hey this module looks great but I ran into a problem installing it. I am running a mock up of the real site on Win7 with XXAMP. Everything else in CMS MS is working fine. When I installed your module I get a notification, "Showtime --Add Me - module:Showtime string:alert_no_records-- ". I...

Re: How to "allow Users to login and edit their own page, and nothing else."
I thought the Additional Editors box listed users that "additionally" could edit the page, not users that "could" be added to the list of editors. So let me see if I got this straight, the owner, and a member of the admin, designer, or editor group can edit a page. While all the ...
