Hi, I hope anybody can help – thanks! I have upgraded an older installation to 2.2.19 and php 8.1. Everything worked except FrontEndUsers and the internal pages. So I installed MAMS and imported all the groups and users – this worked. BIG THANKS TO THE MAKERS OF MAMS!!!! But: We don't have a self re...

Re: LISE 1.5.4 some notes
Hi antibart, thanks for this post – paragraph No. 1 solved my big, big problem! Maybe a short description to find the bug: I upgraded LISE from 1.4.2 to 1.5.4. Had three instances – identical, but for three different languages. Original instance (German) was no problem – ran perfectly under LISE 1.5...

Re: Something wrong with installer 2.2.17
Hi DIGI3, I just checked the older installers – you are absolutely right. My memory was wrong … … sorry for wasting your time! Anyhow: At least this is the chance to say "Thank you, dev team, for CMSms and for the latest release! It‘s helpful and solves many problems with php 8.1!" Thank y...

Re: Something wrong with installer 2.2.17
Thanks, DIGI3,
for the answer. I just wondered why it had the extension .php and not .phar. So I did not even try it – but the expanded installer worked very well!
Thanks for clarifying
and for your work!

Something wrong with installer 2.2.17
Hi, thanks for updating CMSms to the latest version! Thanks for all the work the dev team put into it. But when I download the file cmsms-2.2.17-install.zip and decompress it (tried several times) it decompresses to cmsms-2.2.17-install.php Shouldn't there be a phar installer file and a readme text ...

Re: Output News template to a file?
Hi, Digi3, thanks for the quick and helpful response! I knew this blog of Rolf‘s – but I had no idea that it would solve my problem! Thank you! A bit more information: I needed to output 10 news of the news module as a json file that could be read for further processing in an app. While I could do t...

Output News template to a file?
Hi, could anybody help me / give me a hint with the News module? I am neither a Smarty specialist nor a programmer – so I have been looking around for a long time. Problem / question: I need to output a news template to write a file to the file system on the server. I can fetch a file with smarty, n...

Still an error in FB 1.2 Show Field IDs
Hi, I have the same problem still in FormBuilder 1.2. The weird thing is: I have two installations of CMSms. Both v 2.2.16. And both have FB 1.2 installed. Same php version (8.1), same server. One installation shows the field IDs, the second one does not. I noticed that the help for FormBuilder says...

FormBuilder 1.2 throws bug – workaround
Hi, thanks for making this great CMS and the great modules! I just installed FormBrowser 1.2 into CMSms 2.2.16 by using the Module Manager. But by adding a field into a new form (and also into an existing form) it threw this bug: CMSModule->DoActionBase('admin_add_edit_...', 'm1_', Array, '', Object...

Re: Can't access array in XMLMadeSimple2
Hi, Jo Morg, thanks for helping. After having read your advice I researched the internet and somewhere found a solution that worked for me: I can access the object / the array with the special character @ now by using this: $meetingAbbr->attributes()->teamHome As I said: I am not a programmer; so I ...

Can't access array in XMLMadeSimple2
Hi, I am not a programmer – so I have run into a problem and would be glad if someone could help me – thanks! I describe the problem: I need to include data from an xml file into my website to parse a table on a page. So I installed XMLMadeSimple2 and loaded the xml file as a feed. This printed neat...

Re: Module Search fails – no results
Okay, I worked a whole day – but could not find a solution. Maybe someone can get more ideas or hints when I describe what I did. Thanks for helping: As recommended by DIGI3 I installed a fresh site in a subfolder of the existing site (so the server settings are identical) – Search worked there. I c...

Re: Module Search fails – no results
Hallo, Beuauregard, yes, indeed. The site is hosted by Strato. I never had any problems with Strato in combination with CMSms. But maybe they changed something? I am just rebuilding the non-working site in a subfolder (as recommended above) and will report back the results here within the next two o...

Re: Module Search fails – no results
