You are correct; I made such a mess of things that I decided to go back to the beginning.  I am now able to change the button images for everything excep the active button.  No matter what I do (including deleting images like nav.png and darknav.png) it does not change.  However, the code in the CSS...

I created 3 sets of images (inactive/active set and hover set) and played around by putting the images in different placess in the code.  That was probably about the most efective things I have done to understand the logic.  However, despite anything I do, I can't keep the active tab from apearing a...
