By the looks of the error you are posting, it looks like CMSMS changed the constructor function from PUBLIC to PROTECTED. I'll try to find some time soon to work on this, but my schedule (especially with the holidays) is currently full. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hey everyone,
I just released a LONG overdue update to the LdapUsers module. The best part is, it no longer requires a hack to core CMSMS files. A fresh install or upgrade should both work. I wrote and tested the upgrade on CMSMS 1.7.1, but it should work for older versions too.
