Yes, install it in the demo directory. If you have a live version of CMSMS running in the root, then install your new version with either a different database or a different table prefix. You want to look at it with JavaScript turned off.  That's how I normally surf, and your site was pretty fubar'd in that case.  Looked nice once I allowed JS though.
