Is there anything else besides the Reservation module available? One that has some decent documentation about the template? The current one is a total joke.

I have read some information about layout control in 1.6 that I do not see in 1.7 or being a newbie - probably just haven't found it yet.  ;D The information showed using plus and minus signs to display or not display certain elements of the page, such as news, footer, search, etc. Is this somewhere...
