Re: Orders - last step ... Message body empty

Personally I gave up and went to Wordpress. I now have a site that looks exactly the same as it did in CMSMS, but the whole ecommerce side actually works, and it worked straight out of the box. I have built two more sites in less time than I spent trying to get just one CMSMS ecommerce solution to w...

Re: Destination Based Shipping not changing shipping costs for multiple items

In the absence of a fix for the module being available, does someone have an alternative suggestion that will fit in with Calguy's ecommerce suite?  I'd just like to be able to charge more for postage as the number of items in someone order's increases.  This helps keep the price down for people, so...

Re: Products module - ignoring alpha channel on product image resize

Ahh, fair enough.  Cheers for the replies :)

I guess I am showing my ignorance again, as I thought the watermarking would be using the alpha channel and would therefore be able to cope with what I was wanting.

No matter, I will just connect and manually sort it out  8)

Destination Based Shipping not changing shipping costs for multiple items

Products module - ignoring alpha channel on product image resize

A friend of mine uploaded a lot of pictures into the products module yesterday, only to find that the reszied preview and thumbnail images developed a black background.  The original images were .png format and had a transparent background.  The produced previews and thumbnails were called .png, but...

Destination Based Shipping not picking up locale settings in backend

Minor problem in backed of Destination Based Shipping Module: I think there is a little bug in Destination Based Shipping module.  In the admin interface whenever using the Destination Based Shipping module the currency is always showing as dollars $. I've installed a site and told it that my langua...

Re: Settling config.php to UK locale

If you are using calguy1000 modules to do e-com you may want to look at Extensions » Calguys Ecommerce Base (second tab) General Settings... Thanks for the suggestion :)  I've already told CMSMS to use English when I installed it, then also set Calguys modules to United Kingdom.  Since things were ...

Re: Settling config.php to UK locale

Ah well, I've changed it to en-UK, and destination based shipping is still showing dollars in the admin interface.  I've had a quick look at its code and it does try to load in the currency symbol based on locale settings...but meh.

I'll just work around the issue.  Thanks for trying to help :)

Setting config.php to UK locale

On a site that I am developing I am having issues getting all of the site to recognise that it should be showing £ sterling.  In the config.php file there is a line that allows you to set the locale setting: #------------------------ #Locale/Encoding Settings #------------------------ #Locale to use...

Re: Announcement: New module Script Deploy

I've noticed a small styling issue with the new version 0.8. For the first 100 lines of code the vertical bar at the right hand side of the line number looks fine.  After line 100 the vertical line is RIGHT next to the last line number digit, and after 1000 lines the vertical separator line appears ...

May I suggest a sticky to the installation page for here?

I've seen a few questions that have popped up in there regarding upgrading and installing CMSMS.  There are quite a few different places that have installation advice on different sites.  Couple that with the large amount of documentation that is available on this site, and maybe, a sticky with a di...

Re: So, how good are Arvixe?

Oh, one other thing - sorry.  Users on this forum seem to be from all over the world, so how does Arvixe handle geolocalisation with respect to search engine optimisation? As an example, one of the hosts who operates inside France, appears to be from the UK for SEO purposes - http://www.ovh.co.uk/it...
