"In this issue" is boxed then I get a series of A's with the macrons over the top

I have created an html newsletter but when I send it by email to my test email it has absolute referencing in it. Usually a figure A with macron over it. I am receiving an SRC error when processing a newsletter job in NSM and when the email arrives there is a capital A with a macron over the top all through the document.
I am HTML illiterate and relying on WYSIWYG but am at a loss on this one
