Re: Improved file manager

Does this run under CMSMS now? Do most browsers support Ajax? I guess one wants core functions that support "every" browser, including mobile. I think the problem is partly to get good and flexible file management into the core , preferably so that new file managers can be installed a bit ...

Re: Where do links display

Any suggestions how I can make the month links in the calendar in a side column, update with next/previous month in the side column, i.e. not show in the page content?

Re: Time, date and language

Look in your template header. The locale may be set there in HTML. It is set in the default CMSMS templates I have used. The setting in the config file is the default one but this may be changed even on a page by page basis, for example for multilanguage sites. PS The preferred function is now cms_d...

Re: FormBuilder - Check File Upload Size

Are you using the Form builders "File Upload" field? It has a

"Maximum upload file size (kilobytes)":
"This limitation is in addition to any limits set by the php or web server configuration"

Re: Time, date and language

Hi, Try using just "it" instead of "it_IT". I am not able to use time and data in Italian Language on the front end Some more details needed; what do you mean by "use"? Here is the documentation on Smarty date / time formatting: http://www.smarty.net/docsv2/en/language....

Not saying it is caused by time zone setting, but caching involves time-stamps, to decide when / if a refresh is needed. If time (zones) are not properly set up I imagine strange things can happen...

Re: STRANGE PROBLEM - navigation / pages dissappear

The problem it that after an edit to the site - it appears the problem recurs I have seen similar problems on one site (there all the the css is goes) and clearing all the cashes solves this. Re: STRANGE PROBLEM - navigation / pages dissappear

Still problems with the navigation? Try disable / enable MenuManager (AC=>Extentions) to see if it helps. Just guessing, but I have seen this solve things on other modules. Also check if the problem is on one browser or several. Could rule out/confirm local cashing problems.

Re: Products module - resizing files on uploads

Not a solution to your question but still. You can set the maximum upload size in the config.php, then at least they should get an error message that the file is too large. However that would limit any upload file to that size, not just images. Add $config['max_upload_size'] = in the config.php file...

Re: Multilangual support

There is a poll / many posts on this here: http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/viewtopi ... =2&t=58214

There are also many alternatives to the closed MLE fork, all are probably mentioned in the poll thread.

Re: Create Login that allows only certain pages for editing

You assign edit rights to groups for each page, under Page Options => Additional Editors. Select / mark the (new group) there and hit the submit button. The selected groups list /dropdown may not be 100% clear, depending on your screen, template etc. It is a multi-choice dropdown, essentially works ...

Re: STRANGE PROBLEM - navigation / pages dissappear

I can not see any difference between the two. So I would guess it is a caching problem, try to turn off CMSMS page caching, clear the CMSMS cache and also the browser cache if this does not help. Site Admin / Global Settings - Advanced. And upgrade ;D You do have a separate site, so you can do a tes...
