ok but what about joomla CMS ,wordpress or Alfresco

I want to implement cms on department of computer science to archive it's documents,manage,search and workflow
to be available to every one how works in dept CS and share information with others via web

note: sorry I use little English because my language is Arabic       

I'm now in final year and I must do project and I choose CMS API to be my project
I want to ask
this project is apropos to be my final project?
please any one have idea or advice
help me
