Convert existing CMSMS sites to responsive
I manage a small marketing agency and we have a number of clients for whom we've developed CMSMS sites. We're looking for an expert CMSMS developer who can convert a number of these existing sites to be responsive, so the end result would be the sites look exactly the same on a desktop and tablet vi...

Re: MySQL dump module with CMSMS 1.11.6
Thank you for the response and the insight on this topic. I agree that the authors copyright should be respected. I will make sure and pass that info along to a developer if I'm able to hire someone to assist in this. BTW, I posted this in the commercial section . . . I'd be interested in getting an...

Re: MySQL dump module with CMSMS 1.11.6
Is anyone aware of any other "one click" database backup solutions for CMSMS 1.11.6?
This is a great solution for our sites because non-techncial content mangers can click the MySQL dump backup before making changes . . . doesn't involve having to go through cpanel or phpMyAdmin.

Looking to get a quote to look into MySQL dump warnings
Hi . . . I'm looking for an experienced developer to look into an issue that I've just found with the MySQL dump module and CMSMS 1.11.6. It seems to be working but I'm getting a number warning messages, I've already posted details at in the forum at this link. http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/viewtop...

TinyMCE Additions to Stylesheets not working
Hi, CMSMS 1.9.4.2, TinyMCE 2.8.4 In other recent installs I was able to easily customize how text appears in the TinyMCE WYSIWYG window by adding css to "Additions to stylesheet:" located at Extensions -> TinyMCE WYSIWYG ->Advanced. For example I could add: p { margin:0em 0em 1em 0em; font...

Re: Help with conitional metatag for iPad users
What you need to do is create a user defined tag with the detection code in it. I wrote such a UDT that I use to detect mobile devices. Thanks for the reply . . . you missed in my post where I said "I've also tried creating a user defined tag with the code to no avail." It still doesn't w...

[done] Help with conitional metatag for iPad users
Hi, I need to hire someone a lot smarter than myself to find a way to accomplish the following: For just iPad users, I want the following meta tag to be applied: <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1, maximum-scale=1" /> For all other visitors includi...

Re: Website Main Page Generating "Site Down for Maintenance"
Not doubting you. However, in the case someone else finds this thread and restoring their index.php does not solve the problem it might be helpful for them to also try temporarily disabling their .htaccess since that too can be a cause of the same problem.

Re: Website Main Page Generating "Site Down for Maintenance"
I've seen this happen from a misconfigured .htaccess file. If you have one in your site's directory try temporarily renaming it to see if that solves the issue.

Re: Tiny MCE has disappeared
Apparently there is something wrong with the TinyMCE as we delivered with the 1.9.4.3 distro and it has not been fixed. Hope this helps. S I just did a new clean install of 1.9.4.3 uploading the compressed install via SSH and had this same "out of the box" issue with TinyMCE. Your fix wor...

Re: no appearance of News article from 2011
Thank you Sonya . . . what an easy fix. To summarize the fix, just open modules/news/templates/editarticle.tpl and change whereever it says end_year=2010 to a later date. Yes, we should all upgrade but I've got a few clients who are with an old version and this is a great stop gap measure until they...

I realize it's creating a link to the same page but that's exactly what I wanted . . . you'll see it's linking to parallel language sites.

[Solved] Easy question on cms_selflink

Re: Need help creating an RSS feed from comment module
I ended up hiring ajprog off the commercial forum who did a great job creating a rss feed for the comments for each page or news post. I highly recommend his work.
Coincidentally, he did not use CGFeedMaker but rather modified the inherent RSS functionality of the comment module.
