Re: FormBuilder and email
I know that, however, FormBuilder uses NMS and hence why (for me at least) the above solution solved my problems with Form Builder.

Re: How to implement my own theme/design to website?
The way I do it is to build a design using a code editor - I use Dreamweaver, but it could be notepad for example. When it's how I want it I port it to CMSMS. I may be going about it the long way, but it works for me.

Re: Mysteries relating to moving my own template, CSS & images into CMSMS.
TJ - there are a couple of video tutorials around which may help. One I found from a quick search is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T0g9WkCwO7s . Actually it might be interesting for you to go to youtube.com and type in CMS Made Simple and see what comes up. There are a fair few tutorials the...

Re: How to Change the Font in the CSSMenu left + 1 column template
Hi Martin, Really the best way is to play around. As long as you make a copy you can't do any harm and you will learn as a result. I don't use the template you're referring to hence can't offer specific advice. Within the Templates view (Layout: Templates), select the CSS link for the one you refer ...

Re: Custom Welcome!
Halison, I think you need to spend a little time looking at the Front End User module, and specifically the help info which comes with it. CMSMS isn't like Joomla in that the ability to register, then login and be displayed with some form of tailored welcome message isn't part of the standard instal...

Re: NMS Absolute References
Rod - one other things to check is to make sure in preferences (within NMS) you have the character set set to: utf-8. If not you will likely see funny strange characters.

Re: FormBuilder and email
What's just worked for me is changing the character set to: utf-8 within the Preference area of NMS.

Re: Replace bullets with arrow image
First off you need to get hold of an image of an arrow that you're happy using. You can easily substitute the standard bullets etc... which are part of CSS by entering something like the following in your CSS file: ul#menu_horiz { list-style-image:url(images/arrow.gif) } Obviously change arrow.gif t...

Re: NMS Absolute References
OK Rod - I have an idea. You need to open your newsletter message as though you were editing it. Then select the HTML view. Navigate to where you see those offending characters in the email and you'll likely find some extra unwanted code such as there. Delete it and then try sending it again. I'm ...

You can do this via:
Site Admin: Global Settings: General Settings:
Near the bottom you'll see a drop down called Default Administration Theme. That's where you change it.
Best of luck.

Re: How do I start using CMS Made simple?
Hi Matthew....welcome! The best place really is to look at the documentation: http://wiki.cmsmadesimple.org/index.php/Main_Page . From your post I believe this may the first time you've looked to get to grips with a CMS, hence this is a great place for you to start. Also take a look at: http://www.c...

I'm sure many will agree that Jos is an example of a developer who goes the extra mile...well above and beyond the call of duty. It's great to feel confident that the developer will be there to help answer questions you may have. Whilst I accept that that's not possible for many developers due to th...
