Hi I installed XAMPP today and it seems to be installed okay. The problem I have is that it will not connect to CMS, I think this is due to the location of the empty config.php as mentioned in http://wiki.cmsmadesimple.org/index.php/User_Handbook/Installation/Quick_Install/Install_on_Local_Windows_P...

Thanks for the response.
I am doing this from my computer, what is the best way of going about developing CMS then on a standalone machine? Do I need to be connected to a web server?

I am using Vista and would prefer not to install Linux O/S. When attempting to use WinXP, I received the same issues.
