Re: FEU using Argon2 or Bcrypt
Hi there
Just hit a snag with upgrading as now existing user properties now come up with random characters.
Does that piece of code need updating to handle algorithm changes?

FEU using Argon2 or Bcrypt
Hi there
I have a project where FEU salting is not secure enough for a client. Has anyone tried or know if there is a Argon2 or bcrypt solution for FEU (and hopefully the CMS users)?
Happy to code something up but I cannot see how it could be upgrade safe.
Thanks in advance
Michael

Meta data missing until do cache clean
Hi there I have a number of websites running different 2.x versions and every so often (sometimes weekly) the sites do not display correctly as the {metadata} tag is returning nothing. At the same time you can login to admin and under Site Admin > Global the metadata field is empty. The metadata exi...

Re: Installing 2.x on Plesk
You may have to contact your host about this. I did some googling and found that those 'preview URL's' can be problematic in plesk. I have logged a ticket with the host - time to change to oen still offering cPanel!. I assume having ~xxxx/ will work in the install of 2.x? With my hacks I got it ins...

Re: Generating huge core.#### dump files
I have a couple of customers who are reporting the core.### files. One did not have them and they then installed the CGBlog, CGExtensions, CG Simple Smarty modules (all on 1.6.6). The core files then appeared. So, they uninstalled these modules and no core files.
Does this help anyone?

Re: CMSMS 1.6.6 - Browse to insert image still brings up login page
Could it be that the 1.6.6 diff patch did not include this in? The customers site did not contain the update, but, it does say it is running 1.6.6.
