Thank you - that was the answer to the problem!
I deleted  the .htaccess file in /uploads firstly and that solved the problem. Deleted the same file in /images also just to make sure!!
All up and running again on the newer version.

OK - I have now installed from scratch - and get the same problem. I have checked the permissions and they seem fine, so must be something either in the hosting - which was fine before - or in the database. When I click on the placeholder for an image in the front end which usually brings up the lar...

Hi Just a quick note of thanks for your time on this one. I have stripped all the files off again and gone through the procedures again and have got it working. Config.php was the first file I checked for errors and what I was seeing was fine, unless I was seeing a cached version maybe. Anyway, all ...
