Re: FEU and 'record last updated' field

Thanks - I had a nasty feeling you were going to say that  :)  Still, I have the code dadabik uses to do this, so maybe....watch this space! (and thanks again)

FEU and 'record last updated' field

I am using CMS 1.8.2 and FEU ver 1.1.2 and would like to define a property (date field) that automatically shows when a user's record was last altered or updated - that is, a field which would automatically update rather than one which is manually entered.  I can't see a way of doing this through th...

Re: Migrating users to CMSMS using FrontEndUsers

There are other tables holding (some of) the users' info.  Have a look in cms_module_feusers_properties and also cms_module_feusers_belongs to make sure your records have imported successfully and contrast one you imported with the entry(s) for the one you created manually.

FEU Date Import

I am using 1.8.2. and FEU 1.12 and have just imported a group of users using FEU's own built-in importer. The import went without any reported errors.  One of the fields I imported was called 'dob' (for 'Date Of Birth') and was in the format suggested (MM-DD-YYYY).  The corresponding property 'dob' ...

Re: [Tip] FEU - importing contacts

Seconded!  I too have had no luck with FEU's built-in import scheme, which doesn't seem to cope with importing blank fields.  I think I've got my head round Deak's method, but an example spreadsheet would be very helpful, if it's still possible.

TIA.

Re: [SOLVED] Front End Usernames and spaces

Possibly - although it was a very minor hack and doesn't seem to have affected the usability of the module in anyway that I can observe.  I shan't re-post it in case that gets deleted too  :)

Weird!  There was definitley a reply - and it worked too!  Maybe the poster (someone called 'mebots') deleted it for some reason?

[SOLVED] Front End Usernames and spaces

Using CMSMS 1.8.1 and FEU 1.12 with the self-reg module 1.6.1 I notice that, although back-end users of CMS can have spaces in their usernames (e.g. John Smith), Front End Users cannot and I wonder if there is some particular reason for this, or whether it can be somehow got round.  Reason is, I am ...

Re: Custom Content will not work for me.

What "that" helped?
Your suggestion, thank you.  But i have also turned off WYSIWIG altogether as suggested by Dr CSS, as i have found Tiny a very indifferent editor.

Re: Custom Content will not work for me.

Hmmm. Small further problem.  I cannot now format any of the text between the 'if' and 'else' tags. Even if I apply the coding manually with WYSIWIG turned off, this just re-invokes my original problem.  This can't be right, surely?
