Re: trouble accesing admin area,
Re-installed everything again but no joy. Done it for a third time and didn't select any default language for the frontend and it worked fine. Dont think the language thing could have been the answer though as it shouldn't effect it.

Re: Products by Hierarchy and Categories or just Hierarchy
Thanks. I think I'll stick with hierarchies for now and sub hierarchies as the client only wants 1 product in 1 category / hierarchy for now. Thanks

Re: Products by Hierarchy and Categories or just Hierarchy
Thanks for the reply. Is it possible to order the categories in a specific order other than alphabetical? Normally alphabetical would be good but the website I'm building is for clothing for babies so they need to custom order the list. Current list 0 - 3 Months (2) 1 - 2 Years (2) 2 - 3 Years (2) 3...

Products by Hierarchy and Categories or just Hierarchy
Hi, Currently building an e-commerce shop with the products module and wondering what you think the best way to lay out products would be? 1. Using top level hierarchy and then categories? Hierarchy 1 >>Category 1 >>Category 2 Hierarchy 2 >>Category 3 >>Category 4 or 2. Just hierarchies? Hierarchy 1...

Re: Directory with free and premium listings
I done this using the products module in the beginning and the site has been live for about 6 months. I'm currently working on transferring it into the company directory module as the client now wants to let users of the site update their own listings. I didn't add the expiry date to the site at tha...

Re: Setting up paid registration
Did you ever get paid subscriptions working?
I've installed all the modules but when I click the package I want and hit submit the page just reloads and nothing happens. Any ideas?

Re: Self registration and paid subscriptions
Did anyone ever find a guide on how to do this as I'm now trying to set up a paid membership site? I've set up CG E-Commerce Base, Paypal (Allowed subscriptions), Cart and supplier settings. I've set up 3 registration packages (1month, 3months 1 year) under Self Registration. I have created a page c...

Re: Products - Inventory management
Anyone got any ideas? I was thinking of trying to set up a roundabout method of inventory management by using the orders module and a custom field in the products module. I can set up a custom field in the products module called stock which would be the total amount of stock. The next part is to pul...

Add Inventory management to Products, Cart modules
I am currently setting up a site where we will have once off products and a set number them so I will need some way of managing the stock and displaying how many are left on the front end. Every time someone buys a product the available quantity will be reduced. Is there any work around to this or w...
