Pretty URLs mod_rewrite = 404 not found

I recently installed CMSMS 1.8.2 and went about setting up pretty urls the same way i've had success with in the past.  1. Setup config.php with these settings: $config['url_rewriting'] = 'mod_rewrite'; #Extension to use if you're using mod_rewrite for pretty URLs. $config['page_extension'] = '.html...

Re: Suddenly unable to apply css to new pages (or old pages!)

Suddenly unable to apply css to new pages (or old pages!)

all of a sudden new pages i create in the admin panel won't allow me to apply css styles to them. ( the pages refuse to style the new html elements i'm trying to add -- even with older css classes that appear to be working fine elsewhere )  all my previously created pages which use the same template...

simple PHP question

Hello all! Have a quick question.  I'm using UDTs to facilitate some pretty basic PHP functions to hit a separate database and return results. (For some reason if I use {php}{/php} smarty tags, my page implodes and won't work or display) At present I have two UDTs on my page, one goes into my main c...

Need advice from CMSMS experts: what's the best way to do this?

Not looking for a handout here, but some friendly advice on the best way to proceed with my project. I have my site looking great in CMSMS (still in development) and I need to integrate a data...

Front End Users - capabilities (number of front end users)

In the module help, it says that Front End Users can handle hundreds of users.  What about thousands?  I have a client who has in the 2500 to 3000 range for clients and would have to grant each client access to a password protected page.  Would i be better served by building a custom users database ...
