My research suggests the problem is due to a (relatively) recent change in the way Google formats the map links: adding '&output=embed’ to the end.
Can anyone tell me roughly where to look in the googlemaps module to find the bit of code I need to edit?
Appreciate the help.

Re: Problem with legacy Googlemaps module v0.1.4
Hi Uniqu3, Thanks for your reply Yes I do know this. I have advised the site owner (a former client) in the past. Basically it's out of my hands to upgrade - The site is a non profit, there's no money, I'm just trying to help out, doing it for free. But I don't have time to go through the upgrade an...

Problem with legacy Googlemaps module v0.1.4
Hi, A quick question: I have a problem with a legacy site running GoogleMaps module 0.1.4 on CMSMS 1.2 I recently became aware that the map on the site has stopped working (possibly several months ago). I think this is probably a Google API issue, but not sure. Q: Is this something I can fix by upda...

Re: Simple Cart - fund
The problem is that WP cart seem to be a commercial product Price: $250.00 for business(building websites for clients) Actually this is a slightly misleading statement, from what i can see, it could only cost $15 depending on what manner of business your client was running. And available for free i...

Re: CSS Editor Recommendations
Topstyle. It also handles html just fine. And it was written by the same guy who made homesite, and there is no better pedigree than that
inmo
On the mac the only thing coming close to topstlye (that i have found) is Coda from panic.

Re: Poll: How Many Websites?
My back ground is design, I ended up as client side developer (html / css) slightly against the plan about 10 years ago working for a large agency, got made redundant around 2000, got back to design as well as build and now i am self employed designer-builder. CMSMS fits me perfectly. Sometimes I wi...

Re: googlemaps info bubble question
Thanks for the replies guys, I havent checked out CGgooglemaps module but I will try it for a future project. The reason i wanted to make the bubble narrower was to have a thumbnail image and a couple of words beneath it, but I may just fudge it and put the text next to the image instead. I just fou...

Re: [how to] interesting menu / search functionality
Thanks Calguy, that makes sense. Possibly a little out of my depth with trying to write a module, its outside my experience, and php / js is not my strong point, but I always want to try.. I was also thinking about another approach: If I set set very specific metatags, strings that would not crop up...

Re: [how to] interesting menu / search functionality
Thanks for the pointers, I will investigate. Edit: First question: What is a UDT in this context? uh doh! 'user defined tags': ok thats interesting new territory for me. I will checkout the documentation. After a look at making a menu manager template, I can see how to output standard menus as a dro...

Re: Google map Module
Firstly, thanks for the module, its pretty exciting! Secondly.. Houston I have a problem.. When I create a marker it displays on the map perfectly,(though there seems to be a problem with some html display but I can work with that). However, the problem comes when EDITING the marker. If you edit it ...
