Re: Drop down menu

A couple of options come to mind. If you want all the dropdowns to be the same width you can override the min-width that Foundation sets to 200px, e.g: .is-dropdown-submenu { min-width: 400px; } Or you can set the text in the dropdown to not wrap, which should make each dropdown resize to its larges...

Re: switch visibility of content block

{$content} isn't the same as {content}, unless you assign it first. I'd probably do something like this: {$content={content}} {if $content|strip:''|strip_tags:false} <article>{$content}</article> {/if} The |strip and |strip_tags will hide it if there's just an empty <p></p> and/or blank space in cas...

Re: Error Migration 1.11 to 2.2

cms_action_url is a core tag, shouldn't have anything to do with lise/listit. You may want to run a checksum on your install, and make sure nothing was deleted by antivirus or otherwise. You can also use admin search to see where that tag is called and comment it out, but I would still try to figure...

Re: Error Migration 1.11 to 2.2

There's some instructions in LISE but there's a few gotchas. I keep this rough list handy. Ignore the GB/JMFIlePicker bits if your instances don't use them: -HAVE MULTIPLE, RELIABLE BACKUPS OF YOUR FILES AND DATABASE -In CMSMS 1.11.x, install LISE 1.1. If you get an error, you may need to replace li...

Re: Search a group of set pages

I don't think the search module has any functionality for that built-in. It would need to be forked and modified.

A poor man's workaround could perhaps be a custom result template that filters out any results from unwanted pages.

Re: Site is slow

What Velden said. Use a pagespeed test to fix everything in the site first, make sure the html validates, optimize images, all that stuff. THEN you can start shaving off a few milliseconds by optimizing the caching and reducing database hits within CMSMS. When you're at that point we can offer you m...

Re: Start learning CMS MS

The "Simple" part of the name is directed at the simplicity for the end user (the people you're building the site for). The documentation is targeted towards developers. That said, some new video and other tutorials are in the works that will help you assemble the appropriate help for your end user(...

Re: Facebook feed stopped working

I don't think you have the fb-root and script tags in the correct place, they aren't showing in your rendered code. Make sure it's in the page template used by that page.

You also have mixed content which will cause other issues - load your google fonts via https.

Re: Bulk Download From File & Image Manager

First, it sounds like you're using a very old version - Image Manager hasn't been a thing for years. That said, File Manager and Image Manager are/were just convenient ways of adding/managing files - a bulk download would be better done through the file system (ssl/ftp/cPanel/etc). If you have no ac...

Re: Hit Counter

It sounds like you're trying to use the action=popular mode on this site, but don't have a template for it, or don't have one set as default. In Design Manager, create a new template of type HitCounter::Popular List, go to the Advanced tab on that template and set it to default, then hit submit. You...

The post you replied to is three years old, probably better to create a new post including a full description of your issue, version information, php info, etc.

Re: Do I need to learn wordpress?

I spend a good hour every day responding to support requests on the forum, in Slack, over social media, and email. I assure you we're very much active. There is less forum activity for various reasons: -We haven't made drastic core changes lately, so less support is needed (most issues have already ...

Re: Start learning CMS MS

There have been a few books in the past but they're quite dated now. The best place to look is the documentation (https://docs.cmsmadesimple.org/) and sample templates. I'm not sure what specifically you want to address in the database, but if you look under the Programming section of the docs site ...

Re: Two different menus

I'm assuming you mean the dropdown submenu flyout direction. You might be able to change it with the data-alignment parameter (see https://get.foundation/sites/docs/dropdown-menu.html) but it may also require some css overrides. That's an operation of the framework you're using and well outside the ...

Re: Two different menus

Navigator is core so is included. You're already using it.

The templates aren't replaced by the Navigator module, they're FOR the Navigator module. Navigator provides the data, the template provides the layout.
