Facebook feed stopped working
I run multiple sites using the same templates. On several of the sites the embedded Facebook feed stopped working. I'm trying to make it work again using the code generate from Facebook (https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/page-plugin/) It says to add this code where I want the feed display...

Re: Goodreads Widget
Rookie mistake not checking the code! Sheesh! I was a web developer for many years, then switched to a new career. Now I'm doing this as part of the new career! I took over this site from someone else and there are a lot of random and unused pages and templates. I'm trying to clean it up. I'll figur...

Goodreads Widget
I'm trying to get the Goodreads widget to work on my website. The Goodreads site provides all the code, which includes CCS, HTML, and scripting. I added the CCS code to theme_Core and theme_Default (duplicating, I know, but I'm not sure which it should be in). I added the JS inside the <head> tag in...

Re: News module not showing "read more" button
Ok, I think we are making progress and thank you for sticking with me on this!! I was not using the summarytemplate parameter, but I wanted it to use the default template anyway. I added in the parameter now, just so there's no confusion. Here is the News::Summary code. I see where it truncates afte...

Re: News module not showing "read more" button
Ok, I don't know what was going on with my Summary page. I hit the "Reset to Factory Defaults" and the code changed, but the front end looks the same. I don't see any summarizer function in there. Am I missing it? (http://www.hmmsvt.com/) <!-- Start News Display Template --> {* This sectio...

Re: News module not showing "read more" button
Interesting. Here's a screenshot of that page. Obviously I'm missing something. I'll go look through the Admin Search function. Thanks.

Re: News module not showing "read more" button
Could you tell me more? What do I need to change to prevent that? Here is the text from my News:Summary template: <!-- Start News Display Template --> {* This section shows a clickable list of your News categories. *} <ul class="list1"> {foreach from=$cats item=node} {if $node.depth > $nod...

News module not showing "read more" button
I have a problem across all seven websites I run with CMS Made Simple. Sometimes, though not always, the news blurb cuts off at a URL and doesn't show the "read more" button. I can't figure out why and I can't replicate it consistently across all sites. For example, on this page (http://ww...

Re: Translate pages for readers?
Thanks all. There's no way I can translate the pages, so I guess Google Translate is my answer. Thanks for the feedback!

Re: Translate pages for readers?
Thanks all. Yes, I saw that they were using Google Translate. I've read in various places that Google Translate doesn't do a great job, so I was just wondering if CMSMS had a module or something. I guess not. I'll keep looking into Google Translate.
Thanks,
Tessa

Translate pages for readers?
I've had a request to add the option for viewers to translate the website, much like the translate option available on this page: https://mls.sau88.net/
Is there a way I can do this with CMS Made Simple?
Thanks,
Tessa

Gallery Module: rotating slideshow
Hi all, I'd love to have rotating slide show of images in the body of a page. Just like the top banner of the pages, but within the content. Currently I'm trying to accomplish this using the Gallery module. I see a "cycleTeaser" template, but it doesn't actually cycle the images. Is there ...
