God bless you for this fix. I just transferred my entire website to a new server, and this problem surfaced. I was completely stumped. It screwed up several pages with forms on them linked to the data base. I thought I was screwed. I read this and in two clicks, the problem was gone. Thank you!

Re: Affectionate Kudos for CMS Simple
And when my venture succeeds and I actually have any money, I'm sending a generous donation. Right now, thanks to crushing blows in the US economy, I'm hanging on by a thread like a lot of other folks.

Affectionate Kudos for CMS Simple
I have been building commercial and entrepreneurial and personal project websites since when modems were 9Kbod. I have lost count. My wife and I designed the 3rd music CD store on the web using the cybercash wallet. I have researched most of the CMS apps on the CMS Matrix. I have used Drupal, Mambo,...

Re: Metadata editing confusion.
Thank you Calguy1000. I get it.
It was a forehead slapper. Wish I had thought of it.
I'm just new to the interface. It didn't occur to me.
Thank you Cyberman too, for caring.

Re: Metadata editing confusion.
Hello again. I did what you suggested. I also hit the Clear Cache button, and Submit with nothing in the matadata field. The Page Default metadata field is also still empty. Now, both are empty. The old Page Default metadata is still appearing on every page source. The Global metadata has stopped ap...

Re: Metadata editing confusion.
I believe I have, but on your que, I tried it again. I made sure the metadata in the Page Default was empty first. And after I emptied the cache, I clicked Submit to be sure the Global matadata was saved. Then with a clean browser cache, checked the home page source and there are still 2 version of ...

SOLVED: Metadata editing confusion.
I absolutely love this CMS. Excellent work! I have built several sites with it already. I am a fan. On the site in question, I'm running CMS Made Simple 1.5.2. I'm using PHP 5, and MySQL 5.0.51a-community. Apache 1.3.41 (Unix). Here is what happens. I put metadata in the Page Defaults. Then built th...

Want to overcome HN Captcha Error
Hi I just finished my first website using CMSsimple. Excellent product. I'm hooked. In that website, I used version 1.4.1 and HNCapcha. Worked great. Now building a new website using 1.5.2. on the same server. HNcaptcha is broken. I don't like Phpcatcha or GD captcha. I want HNcaptcha. I got the sam...
