Thanks. Both of those systems work but only if they are entered in the html screen and are not edited in any way in the wysiwyg editor. (I wasted hours on this). I will have to give very strict instructions to my content editor.

Re: Obfuscate email addresses
Yes, thanks Rolf, that will probably do it.
But now I have searched everywhere and I can't see how to set it up and use it? Where do I put the php file? Do I have to create my own tags?

Obfuscate email addresses [solved]
On my current (static) site I have a list of names, phone numbers and email addresses. I have the email addresses obfuscated using javascript but it's probably too complex for the user who will be updating this site. Is there a way of listing this information in CMSMS including a mailto link withou...

Re: Can't figure out news listing [solved]
Okay, I was half way there. Finally realised that I needed TWO summary templates in the news module - 1 for the "news" block and 1 for the content section. My template for the page needed to call in the summarytemplate and the detailtemplate in order for the links from the "news"...

Re: Can't figure out news listing
Well, here goes. URL http://www.westozwebdesign.com.au/ and I'm working on the page called Profiles1. Page is based on a template with the following: {* Start News *} <div id="news"> <h2>Member Profiles</h2> {news category="profiles*" summarytemplate=...

Re: Can't figure out news listing
I'm sure it's easy when you know HOW. When you don't know how the help files leave a lot out ... such as examples! Perhaps I'm trying to do something which can't be done. I made a summary template for the news which only displays the title, without author and category. I made a detail template and r...

Can't figure out news listing [solved]
I'm sorry to be asking such dumb questions. Firstly when I copied a template, I found the following: {* Start News *} News {news number='3' detailpage='news'} {* End News *} In the News help pages it has: (optional) detailpage="pagealias" - Page to...

Re: Finding the right modules
Thanks Nils,
I've set up the album and it does seem to do what I want and I'm somewhere along with the calendar ... it will probably work. I'll have a look at your other suggestions. Thanks.

Re: Finding the right modules
Well Mark, if the help section provided any reasonable description I wouldn't have to ask dumb questions, would I?

Re: Tinymce unavailable
Thanks Videx.
It was a permissions error. Changed the modules folder to 755 and it worked. Thanks very much.

Finding the right modules
I have been experimenting with cmsms with a view to transferring an existing website over and handing the editing tasks over to non-technical staff. But I'm finding it very very difficult to find good descriptions of the functions of modules so that I don't have to waste a year trying out the module...

[solved]Tinymce unavailable
I've been going round in circles trying to find the wysiwyg editor. I finally went back to a demo site to see what it should look like and realised there is something wrong with my installation. I have upgraded to 1.5.1 and uninstalled and reinstalled Tinymce but nothing has changed. If go to edit a...
