Re: Your mail settings have not been configured

Ah, thanks sweaverit - I reuploaded 1.4 and it worked as it should.  I had wondered why the CMSms site said Main had become CMS on the admin menu in 1.4 when it didn't appear to have changed in mine - turned out not all files had uploaded.

Thanks!

Re: Your mail settings have not been configured

Thanks for the reply, RonnyK.

When I press Submit at the bottom of the CMSMailer page, it asks me if it should write the settings. I click OK, it saves and I go back to the backend home, but the message is still there.  :-\

[Solved] Your mail settings have not been configured

Hi, just upgraded to CMSms 1.5 Jamaica, and I'm getting this message on the admin frontpage: "Your mail settings have not been configured. This could interfere with the ability of your website to send email messages. You should go to Extensions >> CMSMailer and configure the mail settings with ...

Re: Update Notifier

Hmm... how about an opt-in option, as in disabled by default, or a plugin?

I would code a plugin myself but I can't say I'm sure about the way the plugin system works and the file would need to be updated officially - like I said, I've missed updates before.

Update Notifier

I may have missed this function... but in case I haven't, here's the idea: The notification area on the front admin page would be used to show if a new version of CMSms was available, by calling an ini file from the cmsmadesimple server - all it need contain would be a version number for the current...

Re: Styles and Classes in WYSIWYG

Ok, scratch that, couldn't get cmsms to link to my new css. Just have to: 1 create a new admin theme (go to the admin/themes directory and copy the default folder to the same place.  Then rename it whatever) 2 add your classes from the css to the css/style.css file in the new theme 3 set the defaul...

Re: Styles and Classes in WYSIWYG

Thanks, but it hasn't helped.  I can't find an extensions folder or a styles folder.  I found a styles folder in tinyMCE, but putting the stylesheet there didn't help.  Thanks again!  Anyway, I can just put in the class in the html source in the meantime Daniel edit: [glow=green,2,300] UPDATE! Styles and Classes in WYSIWYG

I've been having some problems with WYSIWYG editors and classes from my style sheet. In Xinha and TinyMCE, the styles menu should be populated with available classes from the CSS, but when I click the dropdown menu it is empty.  Is this just something that has to be put up with because of CMSms's Da...

--Add Me - and Smarty Error

--Add Me- I've noticed this kind of thing posted before, but this is different.  In my case, only modules show as --Add Me - --Add Me - module:FCKeditorX string:friendlyname--  or --Add Me - --Add Me - module:News string:news-- for all parts set by language files.  I have set default language in My...

Re: Admin CSS not working

Thanks so much guys! It really was becoming a bother having to apply my own stylesheet everytime I clicked on something!
I've replaced readfile() in both style.php and tab.php.  I'll let yous know if I find I need to change it anywhere else.

Re: Curious about linking...

Ok then, if there is no link button, is it ok to use graphics such as the palm tree and text to make a link button?  If so, I will post it here before I use it, just to make sure.
