And that seems to have been the problem. I was able to resize the photos from 3.5Mb down to 30-40kb and still have pictures that are reasonable for viewing on the web... And I got all the thumbnails.

That is a possibility... Most of my pictures seem to be between 400k and about 1.5Mb and I have never had a problem, but this particular set was taken by someone at my dojo and the files are much larger - as much as 5Mb for some of them. I will see if I can cut them down a bit and see if that helps ...

I can't seem to select the thumbnail - not sure why. I manually deleted all the pictures in the album. Then I went to the upload/foo directory where the pictures were stored and deleted all the files named 'thumb_xxx.jpg'. That leaves about 15 .jpg files in the directory. I shot myself in the foot - did an install quite a while back, and now I don't recall the admin password I used. How do I reset the userid/password on the CMS/admin login page?
