Re: CG Blog with FEU - View Blogs by Group
So I guess the bottom line is, can a user register their own group? otherwise if the groups are pre-determined by admin then it's not going to work...

Re: CG Blog with FEU - View Blogs by Group
I realise that, and I have made a group name in the admin but I still can't get my head around how to organise it so that a series of users can sign up to a group name like 'families', but also be attributed to a family name which only they can login to. One family shouldn't be able to view the blog...

Re: CG Blog with FEU - View Blogs by Group
Thanks for your reply and I think you are right, however that is not the root of the problem. I just don't know how to go about: - getting users to sign up to a particular FEU group, e.g. 'famillies' group - the first user creates a group name, e.g. 'The Jones Family' - subsequent users sign up to t...

CG Blog with FEU - View Blogs by Group
Going round and round in circles on this one... I created a simple non-commercial website for kids to create blogs, see the site here http://www.kidsblogs.com.au . I made it for my daughter and decided to share it with other parents. The idea being that parents can rest easy as the blogs are kept pr...

Re: If empty title field?
Thanks for your reply. If I put a string in the title field, then it isn't empty, so it shows up. If I leave it empty, it shows up as the menu text. Either, way, empty or not, the code doesn't work. There must be some code in the core which says "if title field is empty then replace with menu t...

If empty title field?
I am trying trying to get a page title to show up only if the 'title' field is not empty. Here is my code but it's not working, I don't know why, any ideas welcome! {capture assign="titlehdg"}{title}{/capture} {if !empty($titlehdg)} <h1>{title}</h1> {else} {/if} Is it perhaps that 'title' ...

Orders Module - User Choose Payment Method
I am working on an ecommerce site which requires users to be able to choose between paying by paypal or entering their credit card details so that the shop owner can manually process the details offline on their credit card machine. Using Calguy's CGEcommerce suite of modules everything is great exc...

Re: CG Blog: Suggest Category in Front End Submit Form
Yes, that's the problem. I can't find a way for the front end user to create their own category. You see, I'd like users to be able to create blog categories and then filter the view of their blogs by category. Have been thinking... I might try creating a customised field called for instance 'create...

CG Blog: Suggest Category in Front End Submit Form
Does anyone know of a way to add a 'suggest category' field for the front end user in CG Blog? Re: CMSMS v1.10.3 strange characters appear at end of url
I found the culprit! It was the Addthis 'Address Bar Sharing' code in the page template. I removed this code: <__script__ type="text/javascript">var addthis_config = {"data_track_addressbar":true};</__script> From the Addthis website: Address Bar Sharing measures when users copy ...

Re: CMSMS v1.10.3 strange characters appear at end of url
Thank you for the suggestion Dr CSS. I already tried that in fact and it didn't go away, the URL just became something like this: "http://www.domain.com/index.php?page=blog.html#.T0n70PXYHSs I have just noticed this though. Each time I click on a page the characters at the end change, e.g.: #ht...
