Re: [solved] User defined tag cause issues after upgrade
Sure. I created a new menu in Menu Manager called CCC Child Overview: {if $count > 0} {foreach from=$nodelist item=node} {if $node->current != true} <h3><a href="{$node->url}">{$node->menutext}</a></h3> <p>{$node->extra1} <a href="{$node->url}">[Read more...]</a></p> {/if} {/fore...

Re: User defined tag cause issues after upgrade
Thanks for your help guys. CalGuy - I have now switched to MenuManager. I'm pretty sure that I tried that route when I first set the site up 5 years ago but at that time I couldn't use MenuManager to display the text stored in Extra1. When I went into MenuManager this time I actually had a menu I ha...

[solved] User defined tag cause issues after upgrade
Hi there I have just carried out a lengthy upgrade process from 1.9.2 to 1.11.7 and gone through clearing up all the issues. The main one was {stylesheet} to {cms_stylesheet}! However, I have an issue with a UDT I have set up called child_content_overview that displays the name and start of the cont...

Re: Search returns nothing, not even an error! (1.9.4.1)
Rolf - you are a legend! OK, so I disabled "mod_rewrite" as the method for creating pretty URLs and change the method to "none". That worked a treat. :) I then tried "internal" and that also worked. :) However, I wasn't keen on the structure of the links so I tried &quo...

Re: Search returns nothing, not even an error! (1.9.4.1)
Dr.CSS - Thanks for the suggestion. Just a thought though - if it was an issue with the functions on the server being disabled, why would the search work fine on a new install but not on one that has been upgraded? I have put in a support request with the host - we'll see what happens. fredp - I hav...

Re: Search returns nothing, not even an error! (1.9.4.1)
OK, here we go... Rolf - I have tried resetting the search to defaults for both the results AND the input form. I have also tried reindexing all content. (see my first post) fredp - Sorry, I should've said that I have spent a good few hours trawling the forum for details but have turned up nothing. ...

Re: Search returns nothing, not even an error! (1.9.4.1)
OK, at http://cmsms.marblecake.co.uk/ I've been going through running every release update from 1.5.1 and when I go from 1.6.4 to 1.6.5 the search stops working. (search version is 1.6.1).
Any ideas?

Re: Search returns nothing, not even an error! (1.9.4.1)
Right, I've just done a clean install on a different subdomain - http://cmsms.marblecake.co.uk/ - and the search works fine so it's obviously something that's got corrupted somehow. I've run the installer again on the original site and still no joy. The Checksum shows all files are correct. Short of...

Re: Search returns nothing, not even an error! (1.9.4.1)
OK, I've been doing some more poking around trying to work this out but I'm not really any the wiser. I tried reverting to Search v1.5.2 (the last known version that worked) but to no avail. I have checked the .htaccess and config.php files to see if there is anything in there causing issues. In my ...

Search returns nothing, not even an error (1.9.4.1) [SOLVED]
Hi there I've just been through the long and arduous process of upgrading a client site from 1.5.1 to 1.9.4.1. Most things went smoothly, the backups I made weren't needed (which is always nice) and once I had upgraded the CGSimpleSmarty module, my custom layouts worked nicely again! However, one th...

Re: News Module: formatpostdate
Awesome, thanks guys.
On a side note, I did try changing the global setting but it didn't seem to format the date beyond its default setting.
I expect I was doing something lame - will carry on playing with it.
Merry Christmas!

Re: News Module: formatpostdate
At the risk of being flamed, can I hop on this one? I have been trying to format my New items dates but don't seem to have the option of entering a chosen format anywhere other than in the Global Settings for the site (and changing this doesn't seem to have any effect). I have looked on the Options ...

Re: [Solved] Displaying partial child content within parent page
Just as an aside to this, the code has been amended to only show child elements that are active. Find the new code in [urlhttp://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/index.php/topic,29052.msg138417.html]this post[/url].
