Wanted - WP theme from CMSMS design

Hi folks,

My site runs from a simple CMSMS template, I'm looking for this to be made into a WordPress theme for a blog.  It should be a pretty straight-foward job, please let me know if you're interested and what you'd charge to do this.

Thanks,

Philip

CGExtensions module broken

Hi,

The CGExtensions module fails to install for me (running 1.6.6) - loses admin area styles and makes backend unusable until I remove the module via FTP.

Please would someone fix as it's a dependancy for the sitemaps stuff which I need!

Thanks,

P.

Re: 404 Error not showing in new CMSMS 1.6

System Info ? System checksum ? (page) extension scheme ? relevant .htaccess rewriting extract ? non trivial working sample ? non fake broken sample ? Hi Pierre, Did you read the rest of the thread?  I'm not sure why you appear to assume the samples are fake: they are not.  Obviously you can verify...

It looks like the same problem as the original poster reported though, which is why I added my issue here.

I have added a page with php info if that helps:  http://www.digit.net/pi.php

Well, great.  But unfortunately it makes no difference at all on my system - I have left it as you suggested but if you check my links above you'll see the result is the same.

Thanks,

Philip

Re: 404 Error not showing in new CMSMS 1.6

Hi Alby,

Sounds like a good idea - but unfortunately adding a new error page of type 404 and disabling the Custom 404 Handling under Global Settings hasn't changed the error message at all.  Any other ideas please?

Thanks,

Philip

No thoughts on this one?  Is there somewhere I should create a bug ticket?

Thanks,

Re: 404 Error not showing in new CMSMS 1.6

Hi, I'm getting exactly the same error after doing an upgrade to 1.6.  .htaccess is setup as per http://wiki.cmsmadesimple.org/index.php/User_Handbook/Installation/Optional_Settings config.php has: $config['url_rewriting'] = 'mod_rewrite'; $config['use_hierarchy'] = true; Working example: http://dig...

Error log? - solved

Hi guys, Probably a bit of a newbie question, but is there a central error log for CMSMS?  For instance, I have a {content_image block='...' dir='...'} tag that isn't working.  I have no idea why it isn't showing up properly, but hopefully an error is being generated somewhere and being concatenated...

Re: Install fails at step 6

My host doesn't want to upgrade to a more recent version of mysql, so short of changing my provider, I've had to stick with CMSMS 1.5.  Can't 1.6 be made compatible with the earlier software?  Surely there isn't that much of a difference.

Regards,

Philip

Re: Install fails at step 6

Oh, I just found this: http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/index.php/topic,35110.0.html I'll see if my host can upgrade the database, but surely this should ideally be checked earlier on in the installation, if it's a real problem?  At least the System Requirements at http://www.cmsmadesimple.org/support...

Install fails at step 6

Hi folks, I can't seem to get past step 6 of the installation for version 1.6.  Connection to the database works fine, but the install page just gives me: Creating additional_users table... [failed] Creating admin_bookmarks table... [failed] Creating index in admin_bookmarks table... [failed] [snip ...

Menu problems

Hi folks, I'm sure this is a really simple problem - I am using the core menu manager to generate a horizontal menu bar, but I am having problems getting it to display child items in a CSS drop down box.  I really like this behaviour on the CMSMS website, but does the core menu manager come with a s...
