Re: Front End Users - Restrict Group Numbers?
Well, the client will be registering users for a course (or workshop). Each course date will be a group that users can register for. The client needs to set a limit on how many register for each group (or course) to keep class numbers from being too high. So, let's say for example that there will be...

Front End Users - Restrict Group Numbers?
Hi there. I'm currently designing a site for a client, which uses the FEU and Self Registration modules. My client wants people to register for the site, and assign themselves to a group of their choosing. However, he wants each group to have a maximum of 10 people. Is there any way of limiting the ...

Re: New Module: CGFBApp
Actually, I checked the help section of the module, and there is no 'href' parameter for the comments part. So I changed it to: {cgfb_init}{cgfb_comments uniqueid=$entry->canonical} I still get the message the the plugin needs an href parameter. In checking the source code, the xid was certainly usi...

Re: New Module: CGFBApp
Having a slight problem with this module. Got the Like button to work perfectly on the News Detail page, but whenever I try to insert the Comments plugin, it comes up on the page saying that the href parameter is needed. This is what I have in the News Detail template: {cgfb_init}{cgfb_comments href...

Is this possible?
Hi there. I've been using CMS Made Simple for quite some time now, mainly on basic websites. One of my clients asked me if it was possible to add an e-commerce solution to their site, which I told them it was. I've tried using the Products module (and the associated modules that are needed), but I ...

Re: What e-commerce solution is best?
Thanks calguy.
I'm looking at the instructions on your site just now. I take it FEU is a definite requirement? What about CustomContent? I've already got CGExtensions, CGSimpleSmarty, Products, Cart and I've just installed Orders.

What e-commerce solution is best?
Hi there. I've been building quite a few sites with CMSMS, and I think it's a great system to use. I'm currently doing some updating on a client's site, and they are wanting a fairly simple e-commerce solution added to the site, however, they do not want to take payment online, as it will be paymen...

Re: Problem displaying active image in image based navigation
Thanks very much for the help. I had a feeling it was something like that, but when I changed the CSS to menuactive earlier, I used a:menuactive instead of a.menuactive. ::) I also had to make a change to the menu template as follows: <li class="menuactive"><a class="menuactive"...

Problem displaying active image in image based navigation
Hi there. Hoping that you can help. I'm using a clean install of CMSMS 1.4.1 and I am trying to set up an image based navigation using CSS image replacement techniques. I've got the menu working nicely. It has its normal state and its hover state. What I can't seem to get is the active page to di...

Company Directory styling help needed
Hi there. I'm currently doing a new site for a client, and for their 'Links' section, I thought that the best module to use was the CompanyDirectory module. However, I'm stuck on the actual styling of how the links appear on the page. At the moment, they are placed one on top of the other, but what...

Urgent Problem: Fatal Error on established site.
Hi. There is a website I have been working on which has been using CMSMS successfully for about a year. However, just today, I'm getting this error: Fatal error: Undefined class name 'loggermanager' in /home/sites/**********/public_html/plugins/prefilter.precompilefunc.php on line 21 I've checked ev...

Re: Can CMSMS do this?
Thanks very much.
It may actually be easier to have a seperate shop set up (I usually use Zen Cart) and link to the shop from CMSMS.
I'm sure there is also a way to display some content from the shop onto the CMSMS front page.
