Re: Upgrade to 1.5.1 / Restored Data / Data Not Showing

Hi, If you see the wrong data, it looks that you have the wrong database settings in config.php. When you look in phpmyadmin, do you see two databases? And if so, did you connect to the wright one? If that is not the solution, delete the database completely and restore your database again. Before yo...

Re: The server move that went pear-shaped...

The way i see it your path is:

/home/websiteusername/domains/ourdomain.com/public_html

and not the two possibilities you gave. See also the wiki http://wiki.cmsmadesimple.org/index.php/How_to#How_to_move_your_CMSms_installation_to_a_new_server_.281.29

Re: Admin Panel Gibberish

factor1,

What do you mean with the same problem? I suggest you follow the installation procedure as described in the wiki. You can download the 1.5.1 version from the website and use 7zip to extract the files.

Re: De juiste hosting.

Hallo, Ik heb een poosje bij Yahoo! Small Business gespeeld.

Re: Need help in defining paths in config.php on GoDaddy.com

In the manual at http://wiki.cmsmadesimple.org/index.php/How_to#How_to_move_your_CMSms_installation_to_a_new_server_.281.29 i wrote a note: Note: (update neeltje57) The path settings are not always that obvious. In your FTP-client it might show something like '/cmsmadesimple' but the real path on th...

Re: Move to another server! Need help blank screen

Did you follow the information in the wiki? In the section "Howto Tutorials" it is well explained and i tried it a few times, always worked. If that does not work you have to supply more information before someone can help you.

Re: TinyMCE WYSIWYG Problem -removing empty tags

I don't like the behaviour of TinyMCE myself. It screws up too much (probably because i don't know either how to use it properly, i admit). So i turned it off in the My Preferences/User Preferences menu. Select WYSIWYG to use: none

Re: "IE6 is not supported"

I updated the requirements page in the handbook and put a link to this post. What you posted, Nullig, makes sence to me. What i like to know though, is this your personal opinion or is this the official opinion, no offence, but i put it in the manual and that must be right, of course.

Re: Problem uploading module

robinmarek,

In the picture you included with the link it says: Error: The CGExtensions module could not be found. To make your wanted module work, you have to install that CGExtensions module first. You can find this CGExtensions module in the Module Manager.

Re: Updating the manual

tyman00,

I am working my way up in the cmsms knowledge stepladder, so i am still a kind of rookie. So i really have no idea what you are talking about. Has it something to do with the manual?

Re: Updating the manual

The link is fixed and points to FAQ2. As explained before i had to split the FAQ in 2 sections because of limitations of some browsers (according to Mediawiki). It should not happen, but the best way to make no mistakes is to do nothing  ;).  Thanks for letting me know anyway. I will check the other...

Re: Updating the manual

Thanks for your response, Pierre M., I will keep that in mind. I am not sure how we should organize that kind of stuff. There is the FAQ, the Tips & Tricks and the Howtos. Even when you are familiar with this site and you are looking for something you always look in the wrong place. Probably bec...
