Hi and sorry for my error--question 1 is solved for now.  The order in the images folder is the order the gallery will appear, and that is alpha by filename.  So question 2 remains.  Thanks again.

This is fantastic.  I wonder--is it possible to alter the User Defined Tag to allow YouTube videos to play in full size mode?  This requires adding parameters along the lines of in a couple of places in the code.  I'm not expert enough to change it, although I managed to use your 'youtube_video' tag...
